The ‘Hate Crime Hub’ – Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan’s money pit

London Mayor Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan’s big vanity project, a central ‘hate crime hub’, is not only a complete waste of money but also doesn’t even be succeeding in its own aims. The Daily Mail is reporting that this ‘hub’, which was launched with great fanfare by the mayor in 2017, has handled hardly any cases and few of them have resulted in any prosecutions.

The hub, which has cost a total of £1,730,726 over the last two years and includes £452,756 from the Home Office’s ‘Police Innovation Fund’, has only managed to successfully prosecute six ‘trolls’ as the Mail article describes them out of nine cases that the ‘hate crime hub’ brought to court. This is a pretty piss poor result. It also shows that the five police officers detailed by Khan to staff this ‘hub’ have not been able to produce cases that meet the required evidential standard needed to justify a criminal trial. The extreme discrepancy between the number of ‘hate crime’ reports that this hub received during the last two years, 1,612 and the very small number of prosecutions, nine, suggests that the vast majority of the complaints made were either completely bogus, or had so little evidence associated with them that they would have been laughed out of court.

Of course, the excuses for this colossal failure by Saracen Khan’s personal ‘thought police’ to crack down on so called ‘hate speech’ are starting to come out. Most notable of these is the excuse, reported by the Mail that there is difficulty in getting US based social media companies to give up the identities of those accused of ‘hate speech’. This to me looks like pure unadulterated bullshit from the police. This is because there seems to be little problem in, for example, Twitter giving up names and IP addresses of ‘speech criminals’ based in the UK to the police. I’ve seen many an account from Twitter users in the past who have made criticisms of Islam and have then had harassment visits from the police. Facebook also seems to have little problem in giving up the names and identities of real criminals to police and both these platforms have a strong bias to the Left. Personally I don’t buy the excuse that the social media companies are not cooperating and instead believe that this unit has failed because so many of the complaints are basically without foundation.

When this vanity project of Khan’s was launched in 2017, the Mayor and the Metropolitan Police partly justified the expenditure of so much money on this wasteful ‘hate crime’ hub by using figures supplied by the less than usually trustworthy Tell Mama organisation. In the press release that the Mayor of London’s office put out they claimed, using Tell Mama’s data, that ‘hate crime’ is ‘under-reported’ and this was one reason why this specialist unit was set up. The results of this ‘hate crime’ hub after two years not only shows that Mayor Khan has wasted Londoner’s and other taxpayers money, but that Tell Mama’s claim that there was ‘under-reported’ ‘hate crime’ is a complete fallacy. This ‘hate crime hub’ seems to have been set up using bullshit figures to justify its creation and after two years the belief that there is more ‘hate crime’ that has been otherwise reported has been shown to be false.

If even a minority of the 1600 reports of ‘hate crime’ that the Mayor’s ‘hate crime hub’ had been genuine and provable in a court of law do you think that we would have seen just nine cases brought to court? Of course this would not be the case. If these cases were genuine and provable t then there would be much more than the paltry nine cases brought.

Sadiq Khan’s ‘hate crime hub’ has been a disgraceful waste of money and of police resources. At a time when London is suffering from a dire crime wave with what seems like at least one murder per week in the capital, both the officers used in the ‘hate crime hub’ and the money wasted on it could have been far better spent elsewhere. Sadiq Khan has fiddled with ‘hate crime’ bullshit whilst the city that he is supposed to be managing burns. This isn’t just ordinary mismanagement from Khan, this is a criminal level of mismanagement. Khan needs to go and I hope that Londoners vote for someone who really cares about the city come the next Mayoral election, someone like the Conservatives Shaun Bailey perhaps? At least in Mr Bailey Londoners could have a mayor who knows the problems that London faces and would attempt to deal with them rather, as Khan does, hide behind ‘hate crime’ guff. I will conclude this piece by wondering just how many murders may have been prevented or more swiftly solved if so much money and so many police resources had not been wasted on Khan’s ‘hate crime’ vanity project?

Are you sure that’s not Khan’s intention ? to divert resources away from proper policing and help bring-about the collapse of civil society ? Is the spending properly accounted for ? Given that even the Inland Revenue covered-up the theft of tens/hundreds of millions by islamists – (Sunday Times article several months ago) – why should we have any confidence that police/NHS or the funds of any public body aren’t going the same way ?
