OK now it’s your turn. Are you for or against? Give reasons if you can. As for their own reasons, the Hereford Times has turned off the facility to debate this subject on their publications online forum, I thought it right that those who may have misgivings about this proposed project and those who are for, should have a space to debate this.
If you read the post further down ‘ The Missing Conversation’ then you will be able to see the tone of the debate on the Hereford Times.
Opposed!
There is no need for a mosque there and local people are against it for perfectly sound reasons; in almost any other dispute that would be sufficient.
The muslims like to think they are special and above either restriction or criticism and it is important to disabuse them of this.
I saw from the Hereford Times debate that there were quite a few anti’s.
The Islamic group involved managed to link objection to the mosque with ‘racism’ what utter rubbish Islam is not a race.
I agree with you about Islamic groups thinking that neither they or their beliefs are above criticism well they are not.
I did noticed that they Herefordshire muslim groiup used the same old lie ‘It’s not a mosque it’s a community centre’ yeah right. They’ve tried this sort of thing before and used the same words elesewhere. See The Law and Freedom Foundations website (LFF also known as Mosquebusters http://lawandfreedomfoundation.org )

Thinkin of allah makes them dim
Couldn’t resist it.
Nice one! Would make a good chant. And you are right, it is adhering to the concept of Mohammed as the perfect man is making them dim.
Mind you rather them dim than us dhimmis.
The Islamic history doc on C4 must have opened a lot of non muslims eyes to just how much the placement of Islam in its position in the Arab Empire resembled Constantine realizing that the situation needed to be ‘one empire, one religion.’
Christianity is secure in itself over queries into its origins and so is Judaism however even mild and respectful challenges to the islamic internal narrative result in exploding muslims worldwide. The fault with that lies not with those who are making inquiries into Islam but rather those Muslims who choose to explode.
Islamic societies appear to have chosen death over life as their driving force. Shine a light on Islam and it starts to come apart.
I’ll do a proper review of the C4 Islam programme later but I was struck by the difference between the Western desire to learn of the origins and explore and the voice of the muslim on the programme who said that Islam will not listen to challenges.
Submission indeed.
