Although the craven appeasing mainstream media outlets such as Channel 4 and others are caving in to extremists by censoring the Jesus and Mo cartoon that has recently caused such a kerfuffle, this blog will not do this.

All religions and all ideologies must be the subject of free and open debate.  We would not have allowed the British Union of Fascists leader Oswald Mosley to claim that he was offended, nor would we have allowed the followers of Marx to claim that their feeling of being offended justified censorship.  It is especially important that in the present time we do not let the followers of a 7th Century paedophile warlord strong-arm media organisations into complying with their twisted and backward ideology.

Both the followers of Islam and the ideology of Islam itself have no business telling Britons what they can and cannot see or laugh at.  That  is why at every opportunity people get we should pass on the Jesus and Mo cartoon as much as possible.  The Bearded Savages may be able to bully a few TV stations but they cannot and must not be allowed to bully an entire nation.

Tweet it, put it on your facebook page, email it, print it out and post it, make it into a flyer but do not turn away and think that allowing Islam to censor British media is ‘nothing to do with me’.  If you do that you may find that when you really do need to speak up against the ideology of Islam you may find that you are no longer able to do so.

Speak up for freedom because at the moment Muslim groups are speaking up in favour of oppression, your oppression.
