If you are a regular reader of this blog’s Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A Shithole’ feature you will be well aware that life for women in this, and other Islamic toilets, is not good. Pakistani Muslim women are treated like property and often subjected to extreme violence for either real or alleged misdemeanour’s and live in fear.

Today’s dose of horror from Pakistan, a country that has gone from hope to despair in under 80 years, is the case of a woman who was accused of adultery, and as a punishment was burned to death by her husband. The husband had become increasingly paranoid about his wife’s fidelity and kept the woman as a virtual prisoner and forbade contact with her family.

The Pakistan Tribune said:

“A woman who was set on fire by her husband on Friday died at a hospital on Saturday. In another incident, three children suffered burns when their mother’s former fiancé set their house on fire.

Saifur Rehman, 35, a resident of Ghous Paak colony in Muzafargarh, had married Nirma, 32, about eight years ago.

The couple had two children. Rehman suspected Nirma of an extra-marital affair and would frequently threatened her with divorce.

Nirma’s brother, Dilawar, said she was not allowed to meet her parents who lived in nearby Baseera. He said when she last visited her parents’ home, her husband beat her for it.

On Friday, Rehman doused Nirma with petrol and burnt her in front of their son. She was taken to Muzafarhgarh DHQ hospital and then to Nishtar Hospital in Multan, with more than 80 per cent burns. She died in the emergency ward on Saturday.

Her brother has registered an FIR in the Muzafarhgarh police station.

Police arrested Rehman on Saturday from a religious seminary.”

Sadly this sort of thing is not unusual in places like Pakistan which have been comprehensively ruined by Islam, this is the lot of the average woman in Islamic shitholes. Pakistan is a breeding ground for savagery and it is women who too often bear the brunt of such Islam inspired savagery.

Islam is an ideology that should be considered as unsafe for women and children and we sadly have too many examples that confirm that statement.

Is there any chance that Western feminists could take some time away from their ‘First world problems’ and instead turn their attention to the appalling plight that the Sisterhood is facing in Pakistan and other Islamic countries? Many of us would welcome a change of focus from them from trivial things like who is to appear on a banknote or glass ceiling issues, to things that really are life or death matters for women in the Islamic world.

We must no longer ignore the enforced slavery of women that is endemic in those countries controlled by Islam.
