Socialist President Maduro, lauded by Labour MPs as proof “a better way is possible” when he came to power, is embroiled in crisis as thousands of anti-government protesters demand his resignation. In his latest subversion of democracy, Maduro last week issued a warrant for the arrest of the country’s opposition leader, ordering a huge police manhunt and raiding his house and the home of his parents. 100 student protesters were arrested by government forces in Caracas and three people were shot dead, witheyewitness reports blaming government sponsored armed motorcycle gangs. ”

Seeing the likes of Labour MP Diane Abbot and others including Lefty commentator Owen Jones sucking up to a regime that has so mismanaged Venezuela, that toilet rolls became scarce items. This authoritarian socialist and increasingly violent regime which has ruined the Venezuelan economy and harmed its society is one that too many Labour MP’s, activists and supporters admire. Think about that when you go to the polling station to vote next time. The admirers of the Chavez/Maduro regimes want to be given power over YOU. Yet another reason to not vote Labour.
