Aftermath of a Muslim attack in Thailand.

Yes, it’s the ‘Religion of Peace’ striking again.  Al Jazeera, quoting various news agencies, tells of a gun attack by Muslim men on a Buddhist monk in the Thai district of Mae Lan.

Al Jazeera said:

“At least four people have been killed and six injured in an attack in southern Thailand, according to police.

Four gunmen opened fire at a group of villagers paying respect to a Buddhist monk in Mae Lan district in Pattani province on Thursday, police Colonel Sathit Polpinit told the Associated Press news agency.

A 68-year-old monk, a woman and her 13-year-old son and another woman were killed in the Thursday morning attack, Polpinit said, adding that six others, including a police officer, were wounded.

It is the second time in three weeks that a Buddhist monk has been shot dead.

Police said the recent killings could be revenge attacks for the deaths of three young Muslim brothers”

Or alternatively it could be that this is the result of the ideology that drives the Bearded Savages of Islam to kill and oppress those who are non-Muslim.

This looks more like Jihad than vendetta to me and will probably look that way to many others as well.

Al Jizz continued:

“On Wednesday evening in Pattani’s Yaring district, a 29-year-old Buddhist woman riding a motorcycle was shot dead and her body was set on fire, according to police.

A note left at the scene said: “To the army chief: this is not the last body for the three brothers.”

The brothers, aged three, five and nine, were gunned down last week in front of their home in neighbouring Narathiwat province after returning from evening prayers at a mosque, according to AFP news agency.

More than 5,000 people have been killed in Thailand’s Muslim-dominated southern provinces since 2004.

Police are still looking for the gunmen of Thursday’s attack, who fled on two motorcycles.”

I would imagine that you’d get good odds on betting that the Muslim / Buddhist violence in Thailand was started by the followers of the ‘religion of exploding to pieces’ rather than by the Buddhists.  After all the followers of Islam do have an rather bad track record in kicking off violently in many parts of the world.

In Thailand, Muslim jihadis have been attacking schools and targeting teachers because they want to break away from Thailand and see teachers as symbols of ‘Buddhist culture‘

This is yet another example of why Islam as an ideology cannot be said to be civilised.  Islam equals death and it equals death throughout the world. Only the continent of Antarctica or the cold wastes of the Arctic could be said to be fully free from the depredations of Bearded Savagery and that’s probably only because there is no dole offices at the South or North Poles.
