Holy Mary. It is unbelievable that in England 2014 you and your family feel you have to hide the fact that you are Jewish.
It should be incredible, but sadly it is not.
After all, your instinct that to wear the Magen David might expose you to attacks and render you unsafe is daily being proven an all too correct instinct in multicultural Britain. I’m so sorry. That is truly awful.

Britain has not always had a good reputation in how it has handled its Jewish residents and citizens and some dates such as 1290 and 1947 should be looked upon by historians as ones of great shame. However, despite all that, on balance after the readmission of the Jews in the 17th Century CE, Britain has been a place of refuge for Jews especially after the Russian Pogroms in the late 19th Century. There is no appetite among many Muslims to challenge the appalling and patently false ‘conspiracy theories’ about ‘Zionist Plots’ ‘that circulate widely among Islamic communities and neither do Islamic groups seem to feel any shame that the Tsarist forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion* is so often a best seller in Islamic countries.
This is the multicultural ‘paradise’ that the Left and the followers of Islam have created in the United Kingdom a society where Jews are yet again being attacked or threatened purely because they are Jews. The Left in Britain has quite blatantly shown that they are prepared to throw Britan’s Jewish citizens under the bus first. Shockingly I can see British Jews having to make the same choice as French Jews are having to do. French Jews are faced with a rising tide of Islamic violence being aimed at them and their choice is to stay and suffer or make Aliyah and move to Israel.
The presence of Islamo-fascism on European soil has made a mockery of all those august and worthy statements of ‘Never Again’ that were made by the great and the good after the Shoah. The Nazis are back, but this time they are carrying copies of the Koran instead of Mein Kampf.
Islam kills, but it always kills or enslaves Jews first of all. First they come for those whose Sabbath is a Saturday and then they come for those whose Sabbath is a Sunday. Maybe it’s time for the British Jewish Canary to leave the coal-mine before it is too late. The choice may come down to doing that or intellectually and politically tooling-up for a long and dangerous fight.
