Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the fact that this item is later than originally promised. There has been a lot of data to take into account. Secondly I wish to thank all those sources, anonymous or otherwise, who have supplied the data on which this and the previous part of the article have been based.
As previously stated, the London Borough of Redbridge is apparently being subjected to a considerable amount of Islamification and in connection with this there have been planning applications that don’t look quite right. This is in addition to those planning applications for Islamic mosques, ‘cultural centres’, cemeteries etc.
Non-Muslim locals are worried and fearful about ‘stealth mosques’, where applications are put in for buildings that, at first glance, have non-religious uses. One such building is a new banqueting suite on Forest Road in Hainault. What is driving some of the fears of locals is both the design, which looks as if it could include a large fountain in the front, and the fact that it backs on to the Gardens of Peace Islamic cemetery, which itself is the subject to much controversy (see previous article).
There have been concerns raised by some of my contacts in the area that this building although ostensibly a banqueting suite, will not stay a banqueting suite, but will, a few years down the line, morph into a mosque. Only time will tell on this of course, but the experience of locals in this matter is that there are councillors who are very eager to please the local Muslims, because they need the whipped mosque vote, and any change of use to a mosque will be voted through on the nod.
Suspicions of locals has been further heightened by the gates to the ‘banqueting suite’ as they are of a very similar design to that of the Gardens of Peace Islamic cemetery. Are these two entities connected? You can find a plan of the gates to the ‘banqueting suite’ by clicking on this link.
One of my contacts, who I shall refer to as Anon4 said:
“The similarity between these gates and the gates at the Gardens of Peace Elmbridge Road Cemetary is striking, so striking in fact, that I would guess they are from the same people who designed the gates at the cemetary.
The entrance certainly does not look open and inviting, like say, the Prince Regent Hotel in Woodford. (See picture below)
I like other residents are quickly coming to the conclusion that the ‘Banquetting Suite’ will in fact become a mosque. “
Here’s a picture of the gates to the Prince Regent Hotel for comparison with the plans.
As stated in the previous article, there were political shenanigans going on regarding the Newbury Park Islamic cultural centre, based in a former Salvation Army hut. Because of these machinations, an Islamic group was allowed by the council to take over a former workingmans club called Jacques Hall in Hainault. What has transpired is that not only have Islamic groups got permission to build a mosque in Newbury Park, even though some councillors were alleged to be concerned about it, they have also turned Jacques Hall into a mosque and gone out of their way to deny access to this building to local non-Muslims. This is spite of one of the lease conditions saying that the Hall should be open to all and not just Muslims.
There is a considerable amount of murkiness regarding the goings-on surrounding both the Newbury Park site and the Jacques Hall site. As much as the ‘Mosque-e-teers’ and their friends on the council may wish objections to go away, they are unlikely to, especially as there have been considerable parking and traffic problems surrounding the stolen Jacques Hall site.
Here, for information is a picture of the current state of the Newbury Park site
There are also ongoing concerns in Redbridge about the Islamic cemetery situation. Since the original cemetery is nearly full due to the cemetery management burying bodies from all over the place, they have demanded more land for another Islamic cemetery. The demands never stop with Islamic groups, as we can see from this story in the Ilford Recorder. Even if they are given extra land, they still want even more and the cemetery management say that even with the extra land they will only have burial space for five years. Therefore they seem to believe that they are entitled to even MORE land.
The Ilford Recorder said:
“A new Muslim-only cemetery containing 5,000 plots will only help address the need for more burial space in the short term, one of its owners has warned.
Mohamed Omer, also a board member at the Gardens of Peace Cemetery in Elmbridge Road, Hainault, said he is working with Redbridge Council because the new 5.26 hectares Five Oaks Lane site still will not resolve the problem.
Builders began work at the Five Oaks Lane cemetery in May because the Gardens of Peace Cemetery, situated around a mile and a half from Five Oaks Lane, is about 75 per cent full.
The Five Oaks Lane site initially received planning permission for a cemetery for the burial of human remains in 2004. The site previously was a pet cemetery.
Mr Omer said: “[The Five Oaks Lane site] will help address a short term problem but it is certainly not going to address the needs of the community.”
Redbridge’s Muslim community making up 23.3 per cent of the borough’s population – double the London average.
Muslim cemetery plots need to be arranged on an east-west axis in order to face Mecca.
Mr Omer added: “The Muslim population is a growing one and there is shortage in east London more than other areas.”
A council spokesman confirmed Mr Omer had an initial discussion with the local authority earlier this year on the need for more space for Muslim burials and went onto say it was “in a very good position” to cope with demand.
The spokesman added: “The council has long recognised the need to ensure that people of all cultures and creeds have a final resting place for their loved ones within the borough and at this time has more than 30 years of burial space at its disposal at Forest Park and elsewhere in the borough.”

There are, unusually for a story about ‘The Religion of Peace’ some comments being allowed on this newspaper story. However, as I’m anticipating that either the original story or the comments or both will disappear into the memory hole, I’ve tacked the comments to the end of this post.
On to the matter of Jacques Hall. It seems that the Chigwell and Hainault Muslim Association are starting up tutoring sessions. Having had a look at the website of the tutoring company that is going to be running these sessions, I can’t say that I’m filled with confidence in their abilities and relevant experience. For a start how confident would you feel about sending your child to a tutor from a company that cannot spell the word ‘pupil’ or the word ‘homework’? Have they not heard of such a thing as a proofreader or a spell checker? The directors do not inspire confidence either, nor does the lack of information on who is the company secretary. They appear to lack relevant experience and have only been in post for an extremely short amount of time.
Another source of information, who I’ll refer to as ‘Anon5’ said in a communication to this blog:
“ You are familiar with Jacques Hall, 628 New Noth Road Hainault.
What may be of interest is the new education facility being run at the hall, by “Hainault Tutors Ltd”, with the strapline “enrichment beyond the classroom”..
http://www.hainaulttutors.co.uk/
The directors can be found here…
I wonder what is the CRB and educational training status of these individuals?
It is an islamic school pure and simple…
Like my correspondent, I have doubts about the CRB and training status of those who will be tutoring children. In Britain there have been considerable concerns about Islamic influence in the education system and the recent Trojan Horse scandal has shown just how bad these problems are. I agree with the correspondent that this looks like the beginnings of a Madrassa or Islamic religious school and will not be good either for the local residents, especially the non-Muslim ones, or the children who may be attending it. There is a difference between the level of qualifications and CRB checking required for a teacher in state or private school and those working as private tutors. Although reputable tutoring agencies may voluntarily require their tutors to be CRB checked and have relevant academic qualifications, the initial impression given by Hainault Tutors Ltd leaves a lot to be desired. Check out the home page for Hainault Tutors and also the Company Check link to see just how short a time the directors have been in place. In a normal situation with an established company you would expect to see a mixture of long serving and newer directors, but not with this one. Even if you disregard the spelling errors on the company’s website, which seems odd for a tutoring company that states that it can tutor for GCSE English Language, there are still many questions about the qualifications of those who are actually undertaking the tutoring.
Another reason for the Islamic management of Jacques Hall to want to run tutoring sessions there, could be so that they fill up as much of the available building use time as possible. This is so that they can legitimately say if challenged by local non-Muslims who wish to use the centre ‘we have no time available because of the use of the hall by tutors’. Stating that there is time pressures on the building would also get the mosque management off the hook re the lease conditions that state that the centre is to be available to all hirers and users from all sections of the community.
Another Redbridge Islamic organisation also appears to be pulling the ‘Community Centre’ trick. On the A1400 in Gants Hill there is the Gants Hill Masjid. The applicant is requesting that building to the rear of the current mosque be converted into a ‘community centre’. The applicants appear to be seriously underestimating the number of people who would be attending the centre and it is to be expected that there will not be only 40 people attending, but there will be hundreds. This will cause similar sorts of parking issues as have occurred at the stolen workingmans club, Jacques Hall. Because of the document’s size I cannot upload it to this blog but if you wish to see the Gant’s Hill Masjid plans then email me and I’ll try to send it to you.
Also in Redbridge, there is currently concern about British-born Jihadis going overseas to fight Jihad in Syria and Iraq and worse, for us that is, these Jihadis coming back to Britain and attacking us. Like other Islamic religious leaders elsewhere, one of the local Imams, who incidentally supports the expansion of the Woodford Mosque, has got into the local paper regarding the Jihad problem.
In an article in the Ilford Recorder of 18th June 2014, Imam Mohammed Fahim stated that he has been trying to dissuade Muslims from going to fight for Jihad. Bearing in mind that a mosque in Wales recently issued a statement that they had no knowledge about radicalisation happening in their mosque, but was later discovered to have had an extremist speaker appear at the mosque, I’ll leave it to you the reader to decide whether Mr Fahim’s efforts are real, or just Taqiyya.
Here’s part of the Ilford Recorder article on Mr Fahim’s efforts with my comments in italics.
“Dr Mohammed Fahim, of South Woodford Mosque, in Mulberry Way, has played an integral part in recent months in working with the Metropolitan Police to stop Britons travelling to the Middle East, speaking at different events to highlight the problem.
Hmmm! Has he really? There’s not really a lot of detail here is there. Working with the Met Police can encompass anything from sustained high level meetings with anti-terror chiefs to ‘helping the police with their enquiries’. A bit more detail on what he has been doing would have been really helpful here.
He said: “Faith communities must deter these young people from participating in any of these wars as they are not holy wars.”
That’s odd. Last time I looked in the history books Islam seems to have a bit of a thing about holy wars, in fact they seem to have made it a speciality, along with confining women to mobile canvas prisons and hanging gays from cranes.
Dr Fahim insisted Redbridge does not have a more serious problem than any other borough,
This comment really does come under the category of ‘he would say that wouldn’t he‘?
but the Muslim community needed to remind people of Islamic beliefs.
I don’t need an Imam to remind me of Islamic beliefs, I just have to turn on the news or look at the growing death toll that can be attributed to Islam.
The imam added: “Islam condemns the killing of innocent people irrespective of their faith or ethnicity.
“Islam only permits war in case of self defence. No aggression is allowed in Islam.
Tell that to the Copts, the Jews, the Christians of Iraq, the Hindus, the Sikhs, women and the secularists. I’m going to go out on a limb here and call ‘bullshit’ on this statement.
“A just war in case of self defence must be fought in the name of God by following all his rules and regulations.”
Islam wouldn’t know a ‘just war’ if it jumped up and bit them on the arse. Never forget that not even a century ago, the Islamic idea of a ‘just war’ meant supporting and fighting for Adolf Hitler and having senior Islamic clerics enthusiastically cheering the idea of mass murder.
What we have here readers, is an example of the Greater Spotted Mendacious Taqiyya Artist, who will say almost anything to convince foolish non-Muslims that Islam is peaceful and not at all like the Nazis. There is one huge difference between Islam and Nazism, the Nazis had considerably more snazzy uniforms that that sported by the average jihadi thug.
Also unlike German National Socialism, which when it was killed, stayed dead, the ideology of Islam is still, sadly, with us. Like one of George A Romero’s famous Zombies, Islam keeps rising from the swamp of ignorance and violence to trouble civilised peoples yet again.
Here is the original article, minus my sarcastic comments of course, from the Ilford Recorder.
Here’s the Imam as mentioned above, showing his support for the new, and very much unwanted by the locals, mosque in Woodford.
http://www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/11132562.Controversial_mosque_plan_re_submitted/
As readers can see, there is considerable Islamic encroachment on Redbridge, often involving the imposition of Islamic facilities, that because of parking and other issues are to the detriment of the non-Muslim residents of the borough.
Dodgy plans, lack of transparency with planning applicants, possible ‘front’ organisations, lack of clarity and honesty over building uses and number of users, this is Islamic corruption, dishonesty and expansionism in action. Redbridge has a relatively large proportion of Jewish residents, although the population of this group is considerably less than it was, but I cannot recall Redbridge’s Jews bringing anything like the levels of dishonesty, political manipulation and sleaze that Islam has brought.
Redbridge was once a place where a person aspired to live, if you were a hard working person from other parts of East London. It is rapidly becoming a place that is less and less friendly to non-Muslims and there is a considerable danger that Islam will turn Redbridge into a simulacrum of neighbouring Islamified boroughs, that are now so unpleasant to live in that non-Muslims are fleeing. How long before Redbridge can say that they only have 17% of indigenous Britons living there, as is the case in the adjacent borough of Newham?

Gardens of Peace cemetery is filling rapidly simply because there are burials there from all over London and beyond. Had they adhered to the original understanding of serving only Redbridge and the five adjoining areas, then there would remain sufficient space.

I would agree with Morris he is correct on his point. If people from outside Redbridge area are bury then it would fill up dramatically. Why aren’t Muslims other areas get their own areas bury their people. It will create additional traffic in the area, I leave in Seven kings for 33 years since I was born and Seven Kings/Ilford area heavily populated. By the way I am Muslim my family bury at Forest Gate/Woodgrange cemetetry, I wish bury their also.

how i agree sir. it seems in redbridge today mention you are a muslim & the council fall over backwards to help you, as we here in hainault found out when we were told the old hainault workingmens club was going to be a ‘social club’ for the community. no dancing, music or alcohol though. it is now a mosque in all but name with the parking on fridays atrocious, but hey, they re muslim, leave them be.

It’s Five Oaks Lane – but then the Reccorder’s geography is notoriously poor.

Elmbridge Rd Cemetery, Jacques Hall “Community Centre”, The Willows “Banquetting Suite” Forest Rd, (Rumoured to have recently changed hands and will possibly be a new Mosque) and 1 Five Oaks Lane, new Muslim Cemetary….
It would appear there is a dedicated effort to change the demographics of Hainault, whether desired by the local residents or not, to which Labour have sucked up to the whipped Mosque vote, and it would appear fully support the demographic change, regardless of the views of local residents.
The last story to appear online by Harry Kemble on the 1 Five Oaks Lane site, dissapeared, it was headed
“Muslim-only cemetary ‘could be full up within five years”
That article lasted two weeks before it was removed from the internet, (article appears on the E-edition of the Recorder dated 17-10-13 on Page 16).
Wonder how long before comments are closed, and this article also dissapears….?
Morris is totally correct, had the owners not used it as a business venture, burying all and sundry from all over the UK, to the detriment of local Muslim residents, then there would have been plenty of space, however the practice of “Taqiyya” appears to have been used yet again to full effect.
And before the “Hope not Hate” or “Redbridge & Epping Forest Residents Together brigade start shouting “waaasist”, local residents can plainly see what is happening, and they are not impressed…..

Surely a more modern/practical approach could be sought for Muslim burials in regard to land space? Space for “the living” should really be the priority I think.
i well remember a beaten labour councillor saying some years ago ( after hainault ward elected a bnp candidate in her place) that she felt sorry for the residents of hainault & that labour would do all it can to ensure it didnt happen again. i believe she was parachuted into a safe seat in seven kings. well she got that right.if labour ( and the others) had listened to the residents who have lived here for years that disgraceful vote may never had happened. the loss of jacques hall being just one example of local needs & intrests being ignored.
as the earlier letter said, if the muslim cemetary had been for redbridge residents only, there would have been space for years their & the council could build much needed homes instead.-

This is going to be an on-going problem all over UK. Muslims are not allowed to cremate their deceased, so as the Muslim population grows then space will be at a premium.

i would urge people to re-read mr omars statement, ‘the needs of the community’ he says. yet the redbridge muslim community is only 23.3% according to the report which by simple maths leaves 76.7% of the population non muslim.
what about their needs? he then mentions the shortage of burial space in east london & says the five oaks lane site isnt enough. this isnt the problem of redbridge council. its time it said enough is enough & the muslim community must accept that being told no once in a while isnt racist or intolerant its just a fact of life & that the council also have to look after the majority of its residents needs as well. -
As a non-believer living in the area, I can share some of your concerns. The Muslim -especially “Pakistani” community is ever expanding in the area. I am not sure whether or not they are all legally settled in this country in the first place. Having said that, if these people are legal here and paying their tax, I believe council should address their social and religious demands.
Up to a point I would agree with you but there are demands and there are excessive demands and it is the exhibition of the Islamic culture of ‘entitlement’ that is causing problems in Redbridge.
what kind of excessive demands are we talking about here? You mean their “endless” unreasonable demands which are not accepted by the council or you think that they are getting more than they should be entitled and more than any other group in Redbridge?
Definitely getting more than their fair share. Then there is the nature of some of the groups that have been given homes in Redbridge, like the backwards Islamic women’s group that has taken over the old Chadwell Heath police station site. Then there is the matter of behaviour, there have been umpteen complaints from residents near the stolen workingmans club at Jacques Hall about parking problems and exclusion of non Muslims from the facility. Labour are definitely pandering to Muslims in Redbridge because they see Muslims as vote fodder.
