One of the problems that the average Briton is facing at present is the phenomenon of the dhimmified, Islam-appeasing police officer. Some of them are appeasing because they wish to advance their careers in police forces that were relentlessly politicised by the last Labour government and they are frightened to speak out about the wrongs that they see around them. They know that they have to speak fluent ‘diversity bullshit’ even if they don’t believe it in their hearts, in order to get on or be promoted. There are other police officers who appear to have been so brainwashed by constant repetition of the mantra ‘diversity is good’ that they do believe the guff and actively promote destructive ideologies such as Islam or certain Islamic groups. This sort of behaviour, whether of the passively compliant or actively collaborationist nature is something that is to the detriment of us all.
I’m not sure in what category I would put these particular police officers, who are in charge of the Shelton area in Stoke-on-Trent, I’ll leave it for the reader to decide.
A few days ago, one of the officers in charge of Shelton’s local beat Twitter account posted this Tweet on the timeline of the Tell Mama organisation.

@marksonofwil@VictimSupport@TellMamaUK 2 amazing causes. Wishing you well for your fasts & looking forward to your updates!
This was in response to someone who is a supporter of the Tell Mama group’s plan to fast during Ramadan, in order to raise money for both Victim Support and the Tell Mama organisation,
Whilst accepting that Victim Support is indeed an organisation that does do a lot of good work for those who are victims of crime, how on earth can these officers not know that Tell Mama are very far from being an ‘amazing cause’? If you haven’t come across the story of the mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artists of Tell Mama before, as Shelton police don’t seem to have done, then here’s the background.
So far, the Tell Mama group have lost funding from the Dept of Communties and Local Government for being economical with the truth regarding the levels of ‘hate crimes’ against Muslims. They also talked about a virtually non-existent ‘dramatic’ rise in anti-Muslim activity following the Islamic murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby. They are still punting round this false claim of a ‘spike’ in anti-Islamic activity after Lee Rigby’s murder, even though the number and severity of verifiable attacks was less than after the Islamic terror attack on London’s transport network on 7/7. Tell Mama were counting people saying nasty, but often true, things on the internet about the ideology of Islam, as British ‘hate crimes’ and not all of these internet comments even came from the United Kingdom.
When Andrew Gilligan of the Daily Telegraph exposed Tell Mama for being disingenuous and inventing ‘hate crimes’ to justify their existence, Tell Mama screamed and shouted and tried to smear the messenger. Tell Mama and their leader, Fiyaz Mughal put in a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission about the article, but their complaint was rejected. Mughal also took exception to a different article, an op-ed piece in the Telegraph and brought a libel suit against the Telegraph alleging that he and his organisation should not have been mentioned in the same comment article as dangerous Islamic organisations, he lost that case as well.
If this was just a spat between Fiyaz Mughal and Tell Mama and a few journalists, then this organisation’s behaviour would not be as noteworthy or as worrying as what happened next. There is a gentleman called Tim Burton of the nationalist political party Liberty GB who heavily criticised Tell Mama, and Fiyaz Mughal himself, during an online radio programme. He called Fiyaz Mughal ‘a mendacious grievance-mongering Taqiyya artist’. For those who do not know ‘Taqiyya’ is a word that describes lying in order advance the cause of Islam. Although it was initially a Shia Muslim concept, many of us have been at the receiving end of non-Shia groups and individuals using Taqiyya to obscure intentions or political and religious views. For example, it has been used by the East London Mosque to deflect attention from themselves, when they were caught putting on hate preachers who were calling for the deaths of Jews, Christians and LGBT people. Fiyaz Mughal hit the roof when Tim Burton called him ‘a mendacious grievance mongering Taqiyya artist’ and complained to West Midlands Police. West Midlands Police should, in all honesty, have told Mughal to grow a thicker skin and bugger off but the Tell Mama group has been very influential in West Midlands Police and has even advised them on how to tackle ‘hate crimes’. The relationship between West Midlands Police and the Tell Mama organisation is to say the least unhealthy, as organisations of such questionable probity as Tell Mama should never be allowed anywhere near the field of operational police work nor policing policy.
Because of this close relationship between Tell Mama and West Midlands Police, officers from that force arrested Mr Burton and charged him with racially aggravated speech. When this case came to Birmingham Magistrates Court earlier this year, Tell Mama and the police lost their case and Mr Burton walked free, quite rightly in my view. It should not be an offence to call a group that are proven liars, a bunch of liars and grievance mongers.
Tell Mama and Fiyaz Mughal have so far lost their government funding for being less than honest about the number of ‘hate crimes’ and have lost one case before the Press Complaints Commission, one libel case and one criminal case. Does an organisation with that sort of track record, seem to you to be an ‘amazing cause’? They certainly do not look like a good cause to me, nor do they look like a worthy cause to many others.
It is an astounding error of judgement for the officers of Shelton to refer to Tell Mama as an amazing cause, in fact to refer to Tell Mama as anything other than ‘mendacious grievance mongering Taqiyya artists’ would in itself be dishonest.
To take a charitable view of the situation, it may well be that the officers of Shelton were misinformed about the nature and history of the Tell Mama group and we can all make mistakes, we are all human. However what should happen now is that the officers of Shelton should make a public apology for this lapse of judgement or at least cease making public statements backing the Tell Mama organisation. The taxpayers fund our police forces to uphold the law without fear or favour, we do not pay them to say nice things about mountebanks who scream blue murder when caught out. It is right and proper that those who are Muslim should not face physical attack, but for organisations like Tell Mama to muddy the waters by treating internet comments or criticism of Islam the same as a physical attack, as they have done in the past, does nobody any favours, least of all individual Muslims.
For the benefit of the officers of Shelton in Stoke, and for others who may not be aware of this story, there are links below detailing what has gone before. Although many of these links are from within this blog, each story is, where possible, sourced from material that has been previously published elsewhere in other media. You will find links to the externally published material within each individual Fahrenheit211 post.
So Shelton police, are you going to apologise, or stop calling Tell Mama an “amazing cause” or are you going to carry on as before? It’s your call.

Good post Fahrenheit, but then they always are.
I find it deeply troubling that in TM’s latest report out this week include high figures of ‘online abuse’, yet much of this data must be questionable, surely, being the abuse is very often conjured up from people deliberately goading online, more noticeable on Twitter. Many of the goaders have close ties to TM, obviously some may not be close to TM. Then there are those who set out to look for abuse, they get the reaction they crave and then cry victim, TM then trots in and adorns them with praise and pity.
One event I noticed recently. Supposedly a female on Twitter – her timeline was jam packed full of blatent abuse about white people, some would classify it as blatent racism. Eventually someone took offense. Discussion, turned into both parties insulting each other – then, like clockwork, the female took offense, cried victim. TM stepped in, praised her and eventually mentioned that the ‘abuse’ was noted. Lol, absolutely ricidulous.
Is anyone keeping a record of what is going on? If not, someone needs to.
People need to take this ‘data’ seriously as TM are hoping to use it as tool to to restrict peoples democratic rights. TM have been fighting for some time now to get special privileges from Twitter and Facebook (access to details of those who abuse; banning people, demand Twitter change their registration to a verification process etc), this is why it is imperative people keep a very close eye on TM. This shenanigans needs properly countered or peoples freedoms will become toast. Quite something to imagine that taxpayers are most probably paying Teesside a/c to sugarcoat their data.
When Quilliam finally sold itself out to TM, any respect or hope that Quilliam was on the straight and narrow, should now seriously be questioned. Any small amount of integrity they once had has greatly diminished.
