Signing of the declaration of independence

I would like to wish all my readers in the United States of America a very happy Independence Day.

I hope that Americans will use this day to celebrate and reflect on all the wonderous achievements that could never have happened had not the founders of an independent USA made that great leap of faith and declared their separateness from the British Crown.

Although there has sometimes been conflict between the USA and the UK there have been many other occasions when we have fought side by side on the side of righteousness and freedom.

Freedom is a wonderful thing, respect it and cherish it because there are many places in the world where there is no freedom to speak, no freedom of worship, no freedom to pursue happiness.
