Following a trial, much of it ignored by many in the national media and reported only in the local newspaper for the area, the Burton Mail, another group of Islamic sex abusers have been jailed. Sadly they have only been jailed for five and a half years each, for offences that involved the offenders deliberately targeting a girl aged between 13 and 15, in order to sexually abuse her. Even worse, one of the procurers of the victim, who enticed the girl into sexual activity, walked from court with only a conditional youth caution.
Five and a half years is what I would expect someone to get from a judge if they did commit a genuine ‘one-off’ sex offence and if it was a case where there were major extenuating circumstances to consider, or there was a really good mitigation statement by the defence. This is not one of those rare cases where mercy should be offered . It is not the sort of sentence that anybody should expect to see passed on members of a gang who had deliberately, and in a calculating manner, sought out a vulnerable girl and knowing that she was underage, assaulted her as a group.
Five and half years each for this gang is way not long enough. This is not an offence that is the result of a mad moment of moral weakness, or some medical or psychological pressure acting on the offender. This offence was a result of yet another group of Muslim men getting together and actively deciding to find an under-age non-Muslim girl to terrify and sexually assault.
I would have thought that in this case the minimum starting sentence, bearing in mind the fact that these Islamo-nonces made a deliberate choice in their actions, should have been ten years at least. As it is these sex-abusing savages will probably be out of prison in two or three years.
The Burton Mail said:
“FIVE Burton men have been jailed for a total of 23 years after being found guilty of committing child exploitation offences.
The men were found guilty after a two-week trial at Stafford Crown Court following a lengthy investigation by Staffordshire Police’s Child Exploitation Team concerning activity that took place in the Burton area between October 2012 and May 2013 involving the same victim – aged between 13 and 15.
Chief Inspector Steve Maskrey, commander of the East Staffordshire local policing team, branded the crimes ‘despicable’.
He said: “We welcome the sentences handed out, which reflect the despicable crimes committed by these individuals.
“While this sees the conclusion of the criminal justice process, we recognise that the victim will be affected for the rest of her life.
“We commend her absolute bravery and our role is to work with partners to offer her continued support.
“The protection and care of vulnerable young people in Staffordshire is of utmost importance to us and something every officer working in the community seeks to ensure.
“This case has men brought to justice, men who acted in a predatory way and sought out a vulnerable young girl to abuse her. Their actions are inexcusable and the fact they show no remorse only highlights the sinister individuals we’re dealing with.
Umber Farrouq, 21, of Belvedere Road, Burton, Anees Hanif, 20, of Norfolk Road, Stapenhill and Matab Ali, 21, of Gordon Street, Burton, were all convicted of two counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
They all received five-and-a-half-years.
Junaid Ali, 20, of Shobnall Street, Burton, was jailed for five-and-a-half-years after he was found guilty of the attempted rape of a girl aged 13 to 15.
Farrouq and Matab Ali were sent to jail and Hanif, Junaid Ali and Arshad sent to youth custody.
Ameer Arshad, 19, of Waterloo Street, Burton, was found guilty of blackmail and jailed for 12 months. He was acquitted of inciting the girl to engage in sexual activity.
Farrouq, Hanif, Matab and Junaid Ali have all been put on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely. A sixth suspect, a 17-year-old male from Burton, received a conditional youth caution for inciting sexual activity with the girl and was referred to the youth offending team.”
None of these sentences that have been handed down are even remotely just. The victim has not only been sexually assaulted by these abusing savages, but for reporting these scum, she has probably had to live in fear of retribution from both the defendants and other Muslims angry that she has spoken up. Unfortunately this is not the only case of Islamic men targeting vulnerable young women in order to sexually abuse them, and it is not the only case of an Islamic nonce getting a sentence that boggles the mind in its leniency. Regular observers of the Islamic nonce scene will recall this case where a Muslim Koran tutor repeatedly abused an 11 year old girl, but was given a non-custodial sentence because his wife ‘couldn’t speak English’.
This is an over-lenient sentence for a crime where leniency is neither proper nor correct and will appear to many to be another of those cases where ‘being Muslim’ is a mitigating factor in an offence. That is neither right nor just in a society that once was proud to say that there is equality before the law.
The Bible says ‘justice, justice is all that you shall pursue’. This is not justice, this is a slap on the wrist from an appeasing judiciary scared by political correctness from imposing a more suitable sentence.
