Possible Jihad attacks on Britain ? Do not assume that London will be the only target. Everyone everywhere should keep their eyes open.

The security services and armed forces are going into overdrive regarding the threat to our nation from Jihadists. Following on from the attacks in Paris, members of the SAS, SBS and other parts of the armed forces have been placed on high alert.

According to a report on the Brietbart website, nearly two thousand regular troops have also been placed on standby, in case they are required to deal with the threat of attack.

Many people may assume that as previous Jihad attacks have taken place in capital cities, such as Paris and Madrid, then London would be the primary target, but we should not be complacent and think that a jihad attack could only occur in London. It is likely that security forces may be concentrated in London, if only to guard the capital during the forthcoming General Election, and also because it may be seen by defence planners as the likeliest place for Jihadis to hit. However, those who live in places other than London and the South East should not sit back at their ease. If London suddenly becomes a difficult or even impossible target for the Jihadis, then they may choose a different target and bring their brand of random murder there.

Although anywhere in Britain could be made into a target by these Jihadi savages, I would hazard a guess that towns and cities with a military history or military association would be most likely to be chosen as alternative targets by Jihadis.

It is vital that anybody who spots what they believe to be suspicious activity that might be related to Jihad reports it immediately to the Police and the Security Service aka MI5. In my view, this is especially important if you live in a town with a military base either within it or nearby. If these Jihadi savages are not able to kill in London, then they may well choose to kill British service personnel elsewhere. These bastards have got form in this area as we all know.

Although it is welcome to see the government upping the security like this, I fear that such security measures are not nearly enough. There does not seem to be enough troops for a start; shift patterns, breaks, injuries etc will deplete the headline 1,900 troop figure by a lot. This is not a lot of troops to guard everywhere, therefore we need to take care of ourselves and take care of others.

If you have friends who are Services or ex-Services, then keep an eye on them, watch their back for them, and look after them, because these Jihadi savages consider them as special targets. Report to the authorities any suspicious Islamic activity or people hanging round military bases, be extra alert in Service pubs or pubs in Service towns and as always, be aware of unattended bags, parcels and sweaty nervous Muslims with fizzing rucksacks.

Keep your eyes peeled for threats and don’t think that someone else may have phoned this issue in, there is a good chance that you may be the only person who has seen the unattended bag or the suspicious individual and your information may be vital. Even if there are lots of other people around, they may all assume someone else has reported it, or they may not notice the threat or possible hazard, or they may deliberately look the other way for some reason.

Let us all do our bit to help to guard those Service and ex-Service personnel who have guarded and continue to guard us bravely and selflessly, as well as safeguarding their families and everyone else on these Islands who is under threat from Jihad.

As an ex-serviceman I concur absolutely with your comments.
To think the country I love has been reduced to this,
by a pack of self- serving traitors in Westminster.
    Damn them all to Hell.

Thank you for the support. I put the article up as a sort of ‘public service’ because it appears obvious to me that most of the resources will be put in high profile areas to avoid the Jihadists scoring a big time hit on for example the Palace of Westminster or on possibly patrolling the seaways leading to Dover, Tilbury and the tidal Thames, and Felixstowe. There are not going to be enough troops to defend us all therefore we all need to be on our guard.

I noticed that the Met Pol Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe was issuing a ‘don’t panic’ message earlier but I think that is primarily a message to try to calm down the anger that many people are starting to feel about the encroachment of the ideology of Islam.

I agree with you that it is terrible that the people of our nation, no matter what their race or religion, has been reduced to cowering like this because our Governments have imported and pandered to members of an ideology that desire us all dead or controlled.

Good points you raised, but we should also be aware that there probably won’t be many fizzing, unattended knapsacks; what may be easier for these jihadis to use would be knives, which are way more obtainable here than guns or explosives, and are also much more easily hidden. Also, a suicide bomber only gets one chance, and (s)he will never know how successful (s)he was. A knife attacker can often escape to knife another day.

It’s the attended fizzing rucksacks that bother me. I agree that knife attacks are highly likely and should be watched out for. We’ve already had one suspected jihad beheading of an elderly woman in Edmonton North London, so there is a precedent.

When an establishment box-ticking lackey like Hyphen-Howe
says “Don’t panic”, it’s time to panic!
He is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

I’m of the opinion that the ‘don’t panic’ message was for those who are normally calmed by the words of police officers, me, I’m a bit more cynical and will take Hogan-Howe’s words to mean ‘prepare to see Jihadist savages left, right and centre’. As you say he’s not a police officer he’s another Labour party promoted box ticking politically correct lackey.

  4. don’t panic?
I was at st pancres international today and the security was seriously ramped up.
police was everywhere with some of them openly patroling with asault rifles.
I had mixed feelings about this.
on the one hand I thought”look what its come too”
on the other hand I found it quite reassuring to see.
