Sky News is apparently refusing to show the cover of the ‘survivor’ edition of CharlieHebdo magazine. They have caved into threat of religious violence and the fear of being called ‘racist’ or ‘Islamophobic’. They should be ashamed to call themselves journalists.
‘Je Suis Charlie’ means nothing if our media choose not to offend savages.
However, on the positive side, British media censorship like that practiced by Sky News, doesn’t seem to be working. Social Media is distributing the above image like there is no tomorrow and make no mistake about it, there will be no tomorrow for any of us, if we allow the Islamofascists to win.
Glad you posted it.I used to listen to 5live on my radio but in the last week they have had so many so called preachers on there saying how wrong we in the west are and that we upsetting muslims the world over I am surprised my radio never went through the window!
Thank you. I dislike the far left politics that CH was a part of but if free speech is to mean anything then it must apply to those I disagree with as well as those I agree with. If I wanted to live in a society where only an approved point of view is allowed then I would become a Leftist.
someone put it simply. if you’re too scared of publishing the above your in the wrong job. do something else
Saw this on a Christian blog today:-
“When you see a picture of your prophet, it makes you want to kill people. When I see a picture of my prophet, crucified, it makes me want to buy a homeless person a meal. Get it?”
Jesus Christ was not a prophet.
He was, and is, the Son of God,.
