It’s been a bumper day of misery for the Liberal Democrats, not only has one of their parliamentary candidates been arrested for a historic child sex abuse offence, but it seems that a ‘cash for influence’ case (this one with added Muslims) is attracting the attention of Inspector Knacker.
Normally Guido Fawkes only seems to have one Lib Dem scandal every week, but yesterday there were two in one day.
Just like buses, if you miss one Lib Dem sex/cash/influence peddling/paedo scandal, don’t worry there will be another one along in a minute, or less.
Many people will be at a loss to think just why the Lib Dems are so damnably dodgy? It can’t be because they are a politically centrist party, other nations seem to have centrist parties that don’t seem to exist in a semi-permanent fog of sleaze like the Lib Dems do.
Here’s the first Lib Dem story from Guido:
“The LibDem candidate fighting Gloria de Piero in Ashfield and Eastwood has quit after been arrested over historic allegations of child sex abuse. Jason Zadrozny is accused of:
“an allegation of buggery and gross indecency with a male under 16 between September 2003 and April 2004, sexual activity with a child between May 2004 and December 2007 and an allegation of meeting a child under 16 following sexual grooming from May 2004 and December 2007″

“The Metropolitan Police are investigating the LibDems after their former chief fundraiser Ibrahim Taguri was filmed telling an undercover ‘donor’ “when you do this, the doors will open for you”. When you see the constant parade of Lib Dem sleaze that seems to come along at an alarmingly regular rate, is it any wonder that some of those Lib Dem candidates who most definitely are NOT paedos/influence peddlars/teen fondlers/rabid EU fans/lovers of the Criminal Rights Act do all in their power to disguise which party they are standing for. If I had the misfortune to be a Lib Dem candidate, I’d be a little wary of putting the words ‘Liberal Democrats’ in anything other than tiny 10 point or less type.
The Lib Dems must be kicking themselves that criminal lunatics (those who have been sent to mental hospital by a criminal court) still don’t have the right to vote, as you don’t have to be a fraggle to vote Lib Dem, but surely it must help.
