In the previous part of this two part piece, I looked at the shockingly high approval rate for violence among Muslims, especially when a religious insult has occurred. In this part I’d like to highlight two recent cases that show the extent of the problems that we face and which Government must also learn to recognise.
Although as one of these matters relate to a British arrest and which are therefore currently sub-judice I should not comment too much on the detail of that specific case, it’s what they represent that is important, which is a growing willingness of Muslims to approve of, plan, and carry out acts of violence against non-Muslims, mostly because their chosen victims are non-Muslims. If it was the KKK burning down a majority Black church we’d quite rightly call it racism, and maybe it is now time to see Islamic kuffar-hatred in a similar way to racism or anti-Semitism?
The first story relates to arrests of Muslims in Pakistan for planning a 7/7 tenth anniversary attack on London.
The Daily Telegraph said:
“Three men have been arrested on suspicion of plotting terror attacks in London on the 10th anniversary of the 7/7 bombings.
Security forces arrested the men on Thursday after Isil and Taliban propaganda and maps of London were allegedly found on their computers.
They were found with four laptops and computers in the raid near Peshawar in Pakistan’s North-West Frontier Province.
It is feared they may have been planning an attack in the capital.
The Mirror has identified the men as Asmatullah and Abdur Rehman, from Afghanistan, and Muhammad Ibrahim, from Pakistan.
The paper says a police report said: “In the initial search police found literature in favour of Islamic State and Taliban.
“Also, pamphlets against government of Pakistan and its security forces.”
Three of the four 7/7 bombers were sons of Pakistani families, while two attended training camps in the country before the attacks which killed 52 people and left 800 injured.
It comes as Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on Saturday declared a state of emergency following last week’s jihadist beach massacre in which 38 foreign tourists were killed.”
The links and the human and intellectual traffic between Pakistan and the UK are a veritable Grand Tour of terrorism. It was Pakistanis who were involved in the 7/7 attacks, and Pakistanis who have committed terror atrocities elsewhere such as the Mumbai attacks. Here’s some interesting information from the Heritage Foundation from 2009 about how closely Pakistan and global jihad terror are linked:
The Heritage Foundation said:
“A study by The Heritage Foundation bears out Prime Minister Brown’s assertion. Of the 87 individuals convicted or punished in Britain for involvement in major Islamist terrorist plots between September 10, 2001, and August 14, 2009, at least 61 were affiliated with al-Qaeda, and 27 were trained in Pakistan or Afghanistan — more than in any other country in the world.[5] While other regions of the world, especially North Africa, contributed substantially to Islamist terrorism in Britain, al-Qaeda in Pakistan posed by far the greatest danger.
Closing the terror connection between Pakistan and Britain is therefore central to protecting Britain from Islamist terrorism. Because al-Qaeda also seeks to use European nationals to gain entry into the U.S. and carry out attacks against it, the Pakistan-Britain connection also poses a serious threat to U.S. homeland security. This danger is illustrated by the large proportion of the individuals recruited by Islamist terrorist groups in Britain who are British citizens. Of the 125 terrorist prisoners held in England and Wales, 62 percent were British nationals.”
A Pakistan connection in 27 terror cases is a lot. It’s as significant an indicator of a problem as the number of ‘Mohammeds’ among the list of sex slavers and gang rapists. It’s a connection that is far too strong to ignore.
The second case is extremely worrying due to the nature of the plot that was allegedly foiled by police and Security Service. A Muslim is alleged to have attempted to obtain the wherewithal to construct a chemical weapon, and we are very lucky that alleged plots like this are interrupted at early stages.
The Daily Mail said:
“A man arrested by counter terrorism officers was last night charged with trying to obtain the deadly poison ricin.
Mohammed Ammer Ali, 31, who was held following a series of raids in and around Liverpool last week, will appear in court this morning accused of attempting to obtain a chemical weapon.
The chemical in question was ricin, a poison 6,000 times more deadly than cyanide which has recently been used by extremists in the U.S. enclosed in letters sent to politicians including Barack Obama.
However police have stressed that officers have currently uncovered no plan or threat of an imminent attack either in Britain or abroad.
Ali, of Prescot Road, Liverpool, was arrested during raids on five properties last week following an investigation by the North West Counter Terrorism Unit and Merseyside Police during which a number of items were seized.
He was initially held on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
However he was last night charged with attempting to have a chemical weapon in his possession between January 10 and February 12, contrary to the Criminal Attempts Act 1981 and the Chemical Weapons Act 1996.
He is due to attend Westminster magistrates’ court today.
Such cases show that whether it be in Pakistan or the United Kingdom there are a lot of Muslims who are declaring war on us. They are imbibing hatred via the Koran, Hadith and Shariah, they are fomenting hatred against non-Muslims and planning and committing acts of violence.
The hatred, the racism, the love of and desire for violence and the commission of acts of violence by Muslims, and in particular British resident Muslims looks very much like a declaration of war. Such a declaration of war deserves a response, either a fight back or a mass recognition by Muslims that positive change must come, or both.
There is so much violence, current encouragement for violence, as opposed to records of ancient violence, in Islam, that attitudes to Islam by non-Muslims must change. More of us should be seeing the niqab and the burka as the equivalent of the KKK white hood and treat it accordingly. We should also see Islam itself as the moral, cultural and political equivalent of Nazism and Communism, those tyrannical aggressive foes that too many generations of free people have had to fight against.
We are at war, and at war with the ideology of Islam because that is the driving force behind terro. Because we are at war it makes the cry of ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ that much more dangerously dishonest. I look at the world of Islam and can’t come to any alternative conclusion other than that Islam is anything but peaceful, and that it is suicidal to say otherwise.
