Ever since this blog has been running the British Neville Chamberlain award I can’t recall whether it has been ‘won’ by the same individual, I don’t think so. Yes entities, such as the police and local government have been given more than one ‘Neville’ but this month’s recipient deserves another one if only for the context in which they excused Islam.
Shortly after 30 British tourists were mercilessly slaughtered on a Tunisian beach, by a Muslim using Islamic theological justifications for his murderous rampage, one person stood out primarily because they would not stand up and name the problem we all face yet still made excuses for the killer’s ideology. That person’s name is David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Even before all the bodies of the slain Britons had been evacuated back to the UK, David Cameron uttered the words that have characterised how he has handled Britain’s Islam problems. He said the words ‘Islam is a religion of peace’.
What sort of a cynical low-life would, in the midst of a tragedy where Britons have been murdered, say such a thing? Was he badly advised by his staff? Surely those who administer support for the PM’s office must have been aware of the growth in mockery every time that Cameron said ‘Islam is a religion of peace’. Would they, could they, have prevented Cameron using a phrase that has become laughable because of its sheer dishonesty? He can’t believe this guff can he, really?
Judging by David Cameron’s other words on Islam, including his recent keynote speech on Islamic extremism, it appears he truly does believe that Islam is ‘a religion of peace’. Mr Cameron doesn’t see the murdered Christians in Syria and Iraq, or the kidnapped girls in Nigeria or the Muslim murderers in Kenya, he doesn’t even see the death, destruction and mass rape that Islam has brought to Britain. Cameron must have something wrong with him and something awry with his powers of judgement, if he can look at the violent mess that Islam brings to every continent in the world, with the exception of Antarctica, and still say ‘Islam is a religion of peace’?
I hope that this blog never has to award one of these ‘Neville’s’ to David Cameron again, either because someone has found and returned his backbone to him, or he is replaced by a realistic person aware of the dangers we face, and one who will never ever say, ‘Islam is a religion of peace’.
Just when I think that Cameron could not sink any lower in his appeasement of Islam along he comes to prove me wrong.
Please feel free to despatch to Mr Cameron by post or via email or other means, the ‘Neville Certificate’ below.

I don’t think they will ever find a backbone. I suspect he wasn’t actually born with one.
maybe there should be a word for the likes of cameron .
how about “islamoblind”
Seems to be lacking in the gonads, along with his other shortcomings.
