UPDATE TO THIS STORY Mr Robinson has been bailed and will appear at a Court on Sept 3rd. This case relates to when Mr Robinson was held in Peterborough Prison recently and allegedly defended himself against a violent Somalian who wanted to throw boiling sugar water over Mr Robinson. The Prison said they were not pursuing the matter of the angry Somalian or Mr Robinson’s self defence, but it seems that the bent Old Bill have other ideas. There sometimes come cases and incidents when you can say without fear of contradiction, that police harassment has been involved. There are also some other cases where there is an element of doubt as to whether the police officers in a particular scenario are overstepping the mark. What has been happening to former EDL leader Tommy Robinson most definitely comes into the first category, there can be no doubt whatsoever that Bedfordshire and other police forces are engaged in harassment.

How else could you describe the arrest of someone, where the reason for the arrest is not being given to the person arrested, and where the family have not been informed why their loved one is being held. It seems that the police are trying desperately to find something, anything at all, to pin on Mr Robinson because they don’t like his counter-Islam message and because there are rumours that Mr Robinson knows of corruption within the police which some officers would rather never come to light.

Good morning everyone, Hel here. Tommy returned to the UK last night from a family holiday and was promptly arrested by Bedfordshire Police.

His wife was left with three crying children, large amounts of suitcases late in the evening to get home alone.

I do not know what trumped up charge they have arrested Tommy on now, but they could have done it this morning not the minute he got off the plane with 3 tired children, bloody disgraceful.

They obviously have no intention of leaving Tommy alone and are using all means available to try to thwart any plans he may have for his future.

All I can say in my humble opinion is that the ‘powers that be’ must be very scared of him and what he can divulge.

This is a worrying level of bullying from the police here. There is I understand no restriction on him travelling overseas, he’s not on prison licence or any other form of similar stricture, yet the police pick him up at home just as he returns from a family holiday. Why? On what grounds? Without a shadow of a doubt the police and the powers that be are in some way fearful of Mr Robinson and what he may know or reveal, and would prefer it that he did not do so. You don’t need to be a tin foil hatter to realise that there are many politicians, civil servants and Islam appeasing police officers who would have been quite happy had Mr Robinson been murdered by Muslims in prison during his last period of incarceration. However the powers that be would be equally happy if they could make life so difficult and unpleasant for Mr Robinson and his family that he ceased to speak of the things that Mr Robinson speaks about. I see this arrest as part of a harassment campaign by those who dislike Mr Robinson’s opinion and will move hell and high water in order to stop his views from getting out and gaining traction.

Seeing harassment and bullying from the police to one ordinary individual makes me wonder where are the human rights lawyers? If Tommy was an ISIS fan called Abdul or a illegal immigrant or a criminal about to be deported, then you can be absolutely certain that the human rights lawyers would be circling round the case like sharks at feeding time and probably skimming millions in legal aid to defend him. That such lawyers are not champing at the bit to help Mr Robinson shows up the profound political bias and busted moral compass of the human rights legal industry. The law and therefore representation in court should be equal for all, but when lawyers clamour to defend Islamic terrorists, foreign rapists and ethnic minority criminals it should make us ask where is the equality for people like Mr Robinson? Where is his high profile human rights legal representation, or are such advocates only for those who hate this country rather than for those who love it?

Hopefully Mr Robinson will be out and free soon but that can only be achieved if those who are concerned about the multiple arrests of Mr Robinson and his bullying by the police, share the individual incidents of harassment by the police as widely as possible. The only thing that will make our police forces both honest and less likely to pander to Islamofascism is scrutiny and criticism from ordinary people. The police forces in the UK must, especially where their relations and attitude to Islam is concerned, need to be subjected to the disinfecting properties of sunlight.
