For those raised in Britain in the early part of the 20th century, the arrival of the Welfare State was seen as a just reward for those who work hard but have fallen on hard times. No more would people face the prospect of starving to death in some slum because they were sick, old or injured and could not work to support themselves or their families. The Welfare State of the 40’s and 50’s was the way of providing a safety net that would ensure that the poverty that afflicted parts of the UK in the 1930’s would never happen again.
Fast forward to today’s Britain and we still have a Welfare State, but it is one where the priorities are all screwed up. David Cameron waves his hand and imperiously says ‘we will welcome Syrian migrants’, whilst those who have fought for this country or have worked hard and paid taxes are shafted time after time. People in distress go to the Health Service, housing or the welfare systems that they were told by Government was there to support them in time of need, only to find that the State has rolled out the red carpet for immigrant ponces who are rapidly munching their way through Britain’s welfare resources. These Britons, white, black or whatever who’ve done the right thing and paid their taxes find that when they need help from the state, then the state is unwilling to do the just and fair thing and support those who have paid in.
Today’s story is just one such case among many where Britons have been crapped upon by the Welfare System and refused help, whilst legions of violent, poncing ‘Abdul’s’ and ‘Mohammeds’ gorge themselves on the funds contributed by millions of Britons.
None of us out there are ‘supermen’, we are all subject to the storms and vicissitudes of life. We can all be bereaved, or made redundant or suffer some health calamity that sends us from the top, right back down to the bottom.
Lucy Lovelace is the name taken by a member of the Twitter online community who has herself suffered from some of those life events that can hit anyone of us. What has happened to her, especially in the context of Cameron propping open the doors to whoever wants to come here and ponce, is appalling.
On the Go Fund Me page Lucy Lovelace said:
“A year ago my 72 Year old mum and I sadly lost our home and are now homeless and living in our car.
I have worked all my life as have my family & always lived well i lost my job due to redundancy & did not manage to get full time employment in time to keep up with the bills and rent.
We were evicted last Sep and since them me and my 72 year old mother have lived in our car.
The council refused to house us saying we are not priority & we are still battling with them to get us some sort of accommodation.
Every day is a struggle with no bathing facilities & nowhere to sleep & no funds to get a decent meal at least once a day.
After a year our health has really deteriorated esp my elderly mothers she now has crippling arthritis and can hardly walk.
If you can help to raise some money that we could secure some sort of reasonable accommodation and be able to get at least one cheap meal a day and a drink it will keep us going as we are really struggling for survival right now. “
Here we have a Briton forced to live in her car because she and her aged mum are ‘not a priority’ for their local authority. However it is highly likely that the same council will, if asked by government, be able to swiftly find decent homes for some of the tens of thousands of ponces currently making their way across Europe.
Some will say that helping the ‘refugees’ who have ‘nothing’ is the just and moral thing to do but surely if we are speaking of justice and morality, wouldn’t it be more correct to firstly assist those Britons who’ve paid into the system, next should come those Britons who’ve failed to contribute and finally should come support for foreigners. It is only right and proper that those who’ve had considerable amounts of money taken from them in Tax and National Insurance, should be the first to be helped. Sadly neither our National or Local Governments seem to have encountered a foreign or Muslim ponce that they didn’t seem to like.
The welfare state is not helping those who most deserve to be helped and I’d like to ask people if they can to assist Lucy Lovelace in getting into decent accommodation and helping her and her mother get their lives back on track.
Let’s help someone who deserves it and not the undeserving ponces whom Britain already has too many of.
