Fahrenheit 211’s Post-Paris Islamic prediction. Britain’s Muslims will yet again fail the ‘Trafalgar Square Test’.

No, I’m not trying to predict where the next Islamic attack will be, merely making the prediction that despite a few imams making a bit of noise and taking out some newspaper ads saying ‘not in my name’, Britain’s Muslims will yet again fail ‘The Trafalgar Square Test’.

If Islam was genuinely peaceful and not the sort of psychopath factory that it gives the impression of being at the moment, then every public square in Britain would be filled with Muslims saying ‘not in my name’. This is what I call ‘The Trafalgar Square Test’. If they can’t fill Trafalgar Square with tens of thousands of Muslims denouncing both terrorism and the passages from the Koran that feed terrorism, then they’ve failed an important test for living in a civilised society. If the Muslims of Britain were truly peaceful, then there wouldn’t just be a few newspaper adverts disassociating Islam the religion from Islam the murderous death cult, but a genuine movement of Muslims that would leave no doubt in anybody’s minds that the majority of Muslims were peaceful.

Unfortunately we need to get real. Muslims worldwide will fail the ‘Trafalgar Square Test’ after the Paris Massacre, just as they failed the Trafalgar Square Test after the Charlie Hebdo attacks, the Mumbai attacks, the ongoing attacks on Israel, 7/7, September 11th and so many other atrocities. If even a fraction of the attacks carried out by Muslims in the name of Islam had been committed by Jews or Hindus or Catholics or followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, then things would be very different. In that scenario I could almost guarantee that every public square in every city that had a minority or even majority population of Jews, Hindus, Catholics or Pastafarians, be full of people demonstrating against the violence. More importantly if terror was being committed by other groups then you can be pretty certain that action would be taken by the majority of those communities against the miscreants among them.

That Muslims do not protest en masse against Islamic terror or the contemporaneous exhortations of violence in Islamic scripture, and merely make mealy-mouthed noises about ‘religion of peace’ to the Press, tells us a lot about Islamic theology and Islamic culture. It tells us that a significant minority of ordinary Muslims support the dark triumvirate that can be found within Islam, and which poisons it, the triumvirate of Shari ah, Violence and Jihad. This widespread support for what many of us would call extremism, should give us and especially the politicians sleepless nights.

The more and greater are the atrocities committed by Islamic terrorists, and the greater the silence coming from the broader Islamic community and Islamic world, then the more damning this silence becomes. Silence on the part of Muslims regarding the troubling parts of their theology, culture and beliefs, is beginning to seem like acceptance, or worse, support.

It is telling in the extreme that Muslims and their supporters from the Left of non-Muslim politics will willingly and gleefully turn out in their thousands to protest against Israel defending herself or against cartoons of the Islamic ‘prophet’ Mohammed or in favour of burkhas, or to promote Shariah Law,but not against Islamic violence. On the other side of the fence, Muslim-run demonstrations against terror have often been poorly attended, organised by some of the few peaceful minority groups within Islam (and who are referred to as ‘Kufar’ by Sunni and Shia Muslims). Even worse than being unrepresentative some initiatives or have been cynical devices used by Islamists in order to divert attention away from whatever today’s Islamic atrocity has been. The things that Muslims turn out for to either promote or protest against, should tell us what their priorities are, and their priorities certainly do not seem to be those ideas that promote peace or freedom, far from it.

Muslims are, after the Paris Massacre just as likely to fail the Trafalgar Square Test as they have in the past. How many more atrocities will we all have to suffer before we realise that maybe the Trafalgar Square Test is not one that the majority of Muslims really want to pass? Let’s hope it is not many.

Let’s face it, Islam hates us. It hates the non-Muslim in general, and it hates the Jew, the Christian, the Hindu and the atheist. What is more is they let us know about that hatred by telling us this on a daily basis. Maybe it’s time for many more people to stop trying to be friendly to those whose ideology wants us dead, and accept that Islam has never been and never will be ‘a religion of peace’.

They couldn’t pass the chess board square test

That seems to be the strength of it. When a demo by Muslims against terror in Paris, a city that has been hit badly by Islamic terrorism, to only manage to get 30 Muslims to attend is both shameful and illustrative. 30 people!! I’ve seen and been on some really niche demonstrations that have managed to attract more than 30 people. Only 30 out of the tens of thousands of Muslims in the Paris area could be bothered to say ‘not in my name’.

  2. I notice that the headlines of increase in anti-Muslim violence have started, yes they are victims honest

I’ve noticed an increase in Islamic apologists and fake victimhood claimers like Fiyaz Mughal and his Tell Mama organisatino popping up on the media again. Why the media tolerate this person and his swelling band of front organisations I’ll never know.

  3. We need a chuckle, however bitter. From the same place where I pinched That Shield:
