Sadly I have not one but two schools who are engaging in outrageous pro-Islamic propaganda to bring to you today. I’m indebted to several Tweeps for publicising these cases and their handles will be mentioned below.
These cases are not recent and happened 1 year ago and 14 months ago respectively and occurred in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and in Bournemouth in Dorset. What is worse is that one of these schools is a Church of England school where parents should be able to expect that such propaganda would be resisted and another is an independent Prep school.
The first case of pro-Islamic propaganda happened at Moordown St John’s Church of England Primary School where Year 2 children, aged 6 and 7, were not only fed who knows what dishonest guff about Islam, but were also encouraged to bow down in the manner of Islamic prayer. I have to ask myself did the parents actually approve of this, or were they, as sometimes happens, misinformed by the school about the nature of the trip and what would go on during it? I can’t imagine there would be many Christian parents who would be happy with having their children bow down to a bloodthirsty deity like Allah whose followers are murdering Christians left, right and centre.
You can see for yourselves from the pictures that I have grabbed off of Moordown St John’s school website that what has happened on this trip has gone way beyond teaching children what the Islamic belief system is all about. This trip has crossed the line into outright indoctrination.
The second case comes from the independent school sector where you would expect parents to be much more engaged in their children’s education than those whose children attend state schools. After all if you are paying for your child’s education out of your own pocket you are more likely to be the sort of parent who takes a keen interest in what they are being taught. Again this particular case raises the question about how much the parents were told about the nature and content of this trip. It also shows that this sort of grossly abusive and dishonest Islamopandering is not only confined to the state schools sector. The images put up on the website of the Richard Pate Preparatory school in Cheltenham are deeply disturbing, especially for those of us who believe in women’s equality. The sight of little children, and especially little female children being brainwashed into accepting the idea that the Islamic garments of misogyny are socially acceptable angers me, and will probably anger others. Here are some of the pictures put up by Richard Pate school taken on this propaganda trip.
Editor’s Note: The pictures referred to have been removed due to a claim that copyright has been breached. As a matter of courtesy I have removed the images.
Both these cases show that Islamopandering and the pushing of pro-Islam propaganda in a schools is a really ingrained problem and one not confined to state schools and government employed teachers which are aligned with leftist ideas of multiculturalism, it’s in all schools.
There is another aspect of this case that worries me, and also emphasises why it is really important for all parents to be active parents and that is that it appears to have taken over a year for information about these two incidents to be noticed and disseminated on social media. There is no point in being angry about these propaganda incidents a long time after they have happened, the damage has already been done to these children, they’ve already been fed the lie that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’. It is vital that parents who are concerned about such propaganda act quickly, much quickly than they’ve acted so far. Preferably they need to act as early as possible and ideally before these propaganda trips happen in order to prevent them from happening.
For far too long teaching staff have been allowed by parents to act completely independently and without reference to parents when it comes to pro-Islam propaganda. This needs to stop. If we are to protect our children from the dangerous lies that teachers want to feed them about Islam then swift action in concert with other concerned parents is the key. Those of us who believe in freedom of religion and who know about the true nature of Islam, know also that Islam is fundamentally opposed to freedom of belief. I see no value in teaching children a dishonest and sugar-coated view of Islam and I’m afraid that this is what has gone on in these two cases.
By all means teach children about Islam, but tell them the truth about it, not this false and fluffy version of it. Parents need to realise that when it comes to religious education they still have rights and they should not let teachers bully them into surrendering those rights. Since 1944 parents have the right to withdraw their children from religious education lessons and it’s about time that more parents exercised those rights.

You may wish to politely express your displeasure at these schools for their actions in putting these children in harms way by organising these mosque visits. If you do then you will find the contact details for each of these schools below. As I have previously advised in these cases, please keep your communications with both the schools and the teachers legal, decent, honest and truthful. Sometimes you can get a better response from some of these education wallahs by speaking softly than by shouting. Many of these education types live in a world of their own and often do not have any idea whatsoever about how much their actions anger and frustrate the rest of us.
Here is the website for the Moordown St John’s Church of England school in Bournemouth and more specifically the offending page that shows the mosque trip

If you want to contact the school then here are the contact details. It would be good if the staff at the school could return after the Bank Holiday to a very full inbox stuffed with well written objections to this sort of Islamopandering.

‘Active Parent’ stories
Appendix II
These two stories have been circulated by many today but I’d like to particularly thank @verbotenideen and @Kervanderv among others for bringing this matter to my attention
this is absolutely disgusting! Girls in scarves at the back, not mixing with the boys… Michael Gove’s great achievement!
Don’t blame Gove, blame the Head Teacher for allowing it – and where are the parents????
http://www.st-johns.bournemouth.sch.uk/y4-trip-to-a-synagogue/ (same school and year in trip to synagogue)
Let’s see you morons rant about “pro-Jewish propaganda” ,,, c’mon ! let’s see how far you get !
Nit wits
I think most sensible people would not object to a visit to a church or a synagogue or a Sikh or Hindu temple. Many normal people have no objetion to their children learning about these faiths. However, Islam is different, very different. Islam is violent, highly misogynistic and expansionist. Also it’s followers have a highly well deserved reputation for not telling the whole truth about Islam and only really giving a sugar coated version of it to non-Muslims. There is no comparision between Islam and to give your example,Judaism. About the only thing they have in common is an avoidance of bacon. Or put it this way, when was the last time you saw a Jew or group of Jews setting off bombs on the tube or mowing down innocent people in a French town or chopping the head off of a priest? The answer is ‘never’ and that is why your attempt to conflate visits to a Synagogue with visits to a mosque.
It may also help you to remember that Judaism is not a prosytising or propagandising faith whereas Islam most certainly is.
So that 1.6 billion of them are all evil? Shut up ! You are promoting a myth and to be honest even a brief reading over Judaism reveals Jewish disdain and disgust at all non-Jews add to that the promotion and glorification of a religious state (ie Israel) which is systemically ethnically cleansing a country in full view of the world… I think maybe you should read up on “Jewish terrorism” that went on from 1920 until the early 50s in the middle east…
committed by a load of Europeans Jews with the goal of creating a Jewish state in the middle east …(it should sound familiar)
Plus you have not addressed my observation merely continued to propagandise … these schools visited ALL faiths in their area… Christians promote conversion to Christianity and right Christianity (as seen in the US) is as messed up and vicious as Islam is… many of these nutbars in the US (where they have power and military) would execute for abortion, torture homosexuals and are misogynist pricks to the nth degree as are many right wing Jews… it is not the faith it is the interpretation…
Singling out a faith is bigotry *editor
I also notice the use of the term “hetrodox”
“If you are an Islamist/jihadist/left wing nutter who objects to anyone with a hetrodox view of Islam”
I know that might have sounded like you’re some lone voice in the darkness but blogging about hating Islam and promoting propaganda is pretty mainstream these days Josh…
