From Elsewhere: I’m not surprised to see the anti-British group ‘Citizens UK’ mentioned in this story

Many readers of this blog may also have noticed this story from the Brietbart website about how 500 ‘Syrian’ ‘refugees’ are going to be housed in Birmingham, West Midlands despite that city already having a significant waiting list for social housing. If like me you were angered by the council prioritising these invaders over everybody else then here’s something else that you need to get angry about.

It seems that the left wing Alinskyite and pro-Islam ‘community organisation’ Citizens UK was intimately involved in the decision to impose 500 ‘Syrians’ on the long suffering people of Birmingham. Now I have written before on here about the problems that are being both caused and exacerbated by Citizens UK (put ‘Citizens UK’ or ‘London Citizens’ into the Fahrenheit 211 search box for more posts on that subject) and sadly I’m completely unsurprised that this disgusting anti-British organisation has scored yet another direct hit on one of our cities by imposing yet more imports that Britain really doesn’t need.

If Citizens UK really did care for the poor and downtrodden in the United Kingdom then they would be doing something to alieviate the problems, not lobbying for the import of Syrians and other Islamic troublemakers who will only make matters worse. It’s plain to me at least that Citizens UK never seem to encounter an anti-British campaign or cause that they didn’t like and one of their founders has even been caught out giving political cover for the extremist aligned East London Mosque.

Here’s Brietbart on the latest Birmingham ‘refugee’ outrage which mentions the involvement of Citizens UK.

Birmingham city councillors have come together to pledge to re home 500 Syrians within the city over the next five years, despite having 30,000 local people already registered on their books for social housing in the area. The waiting lists include approximately 500 homeless families.

The British government has pledged to relocate 20,000 Syrians from refugee camps in the Middle East over the next five years; in a recent video message, Birmingham’s council leader Cllr John Clancy said that taking a share of the migrants “is the Birmingham way”.

To confirm the Council’s intentions on the matter, councillors from the Conservative and Labour parties came together in Birmingham earlier this week to assure more than 400 people gathered at a local church that they would indeed seek to house 500 Syrians under the government’s resettlement scheme.

The locals were gathered under the banner of ‘Citizens UK Birmingham’, which draws members from local faith groups, residents groups, schools, unions and community groups. Local newspaper the Birmingham Mail also claimed credit for the policy, through its support for a campaign to make Birmingham a “City of Sanctuary” for Syrian migrants.

Addressing the group, Cllr Clancy said: “The answer is yes. This city will put its arms out to welcome refugees from those UN camps, 500 of them over this next few years. We will welcome them, it’s a sign of strength as a city that we can do that.”

It’s getting to be the case where the involvement in any campaign by the Citizens UK movement almost guarantees that the ordinary Briton, no matter whatever their race or peaceful religion will end up getting the shitty end of the stick. They are a poisonous bunch who are often sustained by naïve do gooders who think that involvement with Citizens UK means that they are doing useful ‘social action’ work.

I would like to end this piece with a plea to those whose churches, temples or synagogues are involved in or thinking of getting involved with Citizens UK. That plea can be summed up in one word and the word is ‘resist’. Resist the blandishments of Citizens UK representatives or the various dog and pony shows they put on to try to convince you of the worth of their arguments. Speak up when you Vicar or Rabbi or other religious leader waxes lyrical about what Citizens UK are up to. The quicker you mount a challenge to your groups involvement in Citizens UK the better. You need to do this before Citizens UK get their claws into your management committee or other governing body. Citizens UK are not nice folks even if they go out of their way to give that impression. Citizens UK are not builders of communities they are destroyers of communities and anyone who has observed them at work or read their literature or seen their policies should know that.
