Back in June 2015 a contentious plan to build an imposing and frankly over-dominating mosque in South Woodford, Essex, put together by the Al-Qurani Murkaz Trust, was seemingly busted for good. Local people who are opposed to this monstrous and over the top Islamic carbuncle fought a long, hard battle with the ‘mosque-e-teers’ to stop this imposition, that nobody except the Al Qurani Murkaz Trust and a few non-Muslim quislings wanted.

The local people did all the right things to stop this monstrosity impinging on their lives. They wrote to councillors and got some of them on side, they used the legal process and made their views known at planning committees. This ‘mosque-strosity’ was refused planning permission even though the mosque promoters made some cosmetic and insiginficant changes to the plan. Eventually, and to the great relief of local people, the planning inspectorate rejected an appeal by the mosque-e-teers and seemingly buried this appalling plan for good.

Unfortunately if there is one thing that can be guaranteed when dealing with Islam it’s that its followers don’t give a toss about the rest of us or our views or our feelings, and will do anything they can to promote Islam in areas which it has not yet afflicted. Anyone who has had the misfortune to have had to live in a Muslim area of Britain knows that the word ‘afflicted’ is the most appropriate one to use. The mosque promoters or South Woodford are having another go.

The Al Qurani Murkaz Trust has submitted another application to Redbridge council for a similar style of mosque, details of which can be found via the link to the planning documents below. An anonymous correspondent to this blog, who I shall refer to for the purposes of this article as ‘anon1’ outlined exactly what the mosque-e-teers of the Al Qurani Murkaz Trust want to impose on the citizens of South Woodford. In my opinion it looks equally as bad as the previous attempt at mosque imposition in the area.

I fail to see how this appalling plan is different from the mosque-e-teers previous appalling plan. There are still going to be the problems with traffic congestion and nobody in their right mind believes the lie, told so often by Islamic groups, that most of their worshippers will get to the mosque by public transport. You’ve still got the three storey building the residential accommodation and the wholly misnamed ‘community centre’ which I can assure you will do nothing at all for the general community. The residents of Hainault in Redbridge found out the hard way what happens when an Islamic group runs a community centre ostensibly for all. Jacques Hall in Hainault was basically stolen from the community by the Hainault and Chigwell Muslim Association and turned into a mosque. The Muslim association did their very best to successfully drive away or discourage all of the non-Muslim organisations that wanted to use the centre by imposing Shariah conditions on hirers. They also deliberately refused to open up the centre when non-Muslim hirers had booked it. This ‘community centre’ ruse put up by the Al Qurani Murkaz Trust is just that, a ruse.

Some may ask why these mosque-e-teers have put up such a similar application to one that was previously refused? The answer may well lie in the change of political colour in Redbridge from Conservative blue to the red of Labour. Now Labour have succeeded in taking control of Redbridge partially because of the support of Muslims. Redbridge, like far too many other areas of the UK is now controlled by a Labour party that is beholden to Muslim groups and is to all intents and purposes either controlled by or over-influenced by such groups. There have also been changes since the days of Tory control in Redbridge and one of those changes is the abolition of local planning committees. In future all planning applications will be decided centrally at the town hall in Ilford, with reduced input or influence on decisions by ordinary local councillors.

With a Labour/Islam alliance controlling the council and decisions on planning made centrally and with less power or opportunity for local councillors to object or these sort of impositions, local democracy has been severely weakened. The mosque-e-teers obviously feel more confident that they can get this appalling mosque plan imposed on the people of South Woodford because of the change in borough governance and the centralising of planning applications. It may well be that the Muslims of Redbridge are going to be demanding their pound of flesh from Redbridge Labour and that is probably going to take the form of the council nodding through mosques like this in the teeth of lots of justifiable objection to them.

The people of South Woodford have a long and difficult campaign on their hands over this latest attempt at a mosque imposition. Those in charge of dealing with these planning applications centrally, both elected councillors and appointed council officers, will be feeling under political pressure from Muslims to dump these mosques on places like South Woodford. Labour are going to have to do something to pay off the Muslim groups for things like bent postal votes and the whipped mosque vote and it’s likely that they will try to throw the non-Muslim citizens of South Woodford who really don’t want this mosque, under the proverbial bus in order to do it.

I would urge all of my readers to support those citizens of South Woodford in their fight against a mosque being imposed on them by a coalition of Islamopandering Labour politicians and Islamic groups hell-bent on expanding their presence into areas where it is plainly not wanted. Please share this article as widely as you can in order to alert other people in the UK and beyond to the plight of the people of South Woodford who are bravely resisting this appalling and unnecessary mosque imposition. I will close this piece with the words of one of those who wrote to one of the local newspapers that cover South Woodford. The writer in question said in a statement directed at those Muslims pushing for this monstrosity: “You’ve succeeded in taking over certain areas. This area you will not have !!!!!!”

Please support the people of South Woodford as they try to say ‘No Pasaran’ to the fascistic, disruptive and rapacious ideology of Islam.
