A good old fashioned murder mystery based on an Agatha Christie novel. And Then There Were None is the tale of a group of individuals unknown and unrelated to each other who are sent letters requesting them to go to a remote island of the English coast called ‘Indian Island’.
These individuals are effectively trapped on the island for several days in a large house with only two servants to manage all the guests.
Everyone is wondering who the Mr UN Owen who’d invited them was and they try to solve the mystery of why they were invited. The puzzle takes an unpleasant turn when a record is put on the turntable which contains some interesting information on each of the guests.
I’m not going to spoil this classic mystery story by revealing too much but there’s deaths, frights, red herrings and a big reveal at the end.
I’ve seen similar versions of this tale before but this version directed by Rene Clair and made in 1945 is a good one.
I hope you enjoy this movie as much as I did.
