The journalist and commentator Rod Liddell, a Labour Party member for many years, is not everyone’s cup of tea. As with all writers, some people like him and some people do not and some, such as myself, like him some of his writing but not others. What cannot be denied however is that Mr Liddell has been suspended from the Labour Party for the simple act of telling the truth.
Mr Liddell spoke what many of us who are less high profile have been saying for years, and that is that Labour has allowed itself to be heavily influenced by Muslims and Islamic concerns. Many of the Muslim councillors and activists in Labour have views about Jews and Judaism that are at best hostile, and at worst genocidal. This is a truth that seems to have been well established and well evidenced. There have also been suspensions of Muslim Labour local councillors for various outbursts of Jew hatred.
But, for telling that truth, and for pointing out that there are towns in Britain where the influence of the Labour/Islamic alliance has had a baleful effect on religious tolerance, Rod Liddell has been suspended from the Labour parry. This should tell us all we need to know about what the Labour Party has become. It’s become the ‘Islam Party’ in all but name.
Rod Liddell only said what many of us are thinking and what many of us know about Labour’s Muslim activists. He only described the facts on the ground and that is that Labour has for a long time had a policy of not doing anything about the Jew hating Muslims in their midst.
I seen nothing untrue or offensive, unless the truth itself is now ‘offensive’, in Mr Liddell’s comments. Islam does indeed have Jew hatred running through it like the words in a stick of seaside rock, how could anybody who is even partially familiar with Islamic theology not see that? Long time Labour/Islamic rule in places like Newham in East London has made it difficult if not highly dangerous for Orthodox Jews to live there. One Jewish former resident of Newham had to wear a stab proof vest just to walk the streets. I’ve no doubt that things are just as bad in other areas ruled by the Labour/Islamic alliance.
There is absolutely nothing that is untrue in Mr Liddell’s statement that: “For many Muslims the antisemitism is visceral, an ingrained part of their unpleasant ideology,” He’s correct. Jew hatred is an integral part of Islam, to deny that is to deny an absolute truth. Mr Liddell is also correct when he says that the problem is endemic in Labour and that the far Left, which has always had its Jew haters, are also part of the problem.
Mr Liddell added:
““It is absolutely endemic within two sections of the Labour Party – the perpetually adolescent white middle-class lefties, and the Muslims – the latter of which now comprise a significant proportion of Labour activists and voters in parts of London and the dilapidated former mill towns of West Yorkshire and East Lancashire. And Luton. And parts of the midlands.”
Labour have always had a problem to some degree with the far Left and anybody who is old enough to remember Kinnock’s battles with the Militant Tendency entryists will be able to attest to that fact. Labour have also had those who loudly support the false narrative of the ‘Palestinians’ but the alliance between the middle class Left and far right Muslims is something much worse than just the loony left alone.
There are now whole towns and whole London boroughs where there is no effective Left of centre opposition to Islamic interests or the Jew hatred that is an intimate part of Islamic theology. This is something that should worry everyone, no matter what their political view. There needs to be an effective centre-Left opposition to those Muslims whose views and actions threaten the peace of our cities.
The Labour party of today is plainly not the Labour party of Wilson or Callaghan or Gaitskell it has become the party of the followers of a 7th century Jew hating peadophile called Mohammed along with the ‘perpetually adolescent’ middle class Left. It has also, as we see in this case, a party where pointing out the truth that Labour has a problem with Islamic Jew hatred, gets you suspended from the party. Whether we are traditional Labour supporters or not, this is something we should all grieve about. Labour’s transmogrification into the Islam Party is now all but complete and voters should remember that fact when election time comes around.
