It’s vital to vote, and vital to vote Leave

Anyone who has read this blog since its inception will be aware that I’ve consistently called for a political, rather than a violent solution to many of Britain’s problems, especially Britain’s problems with Islam. I want to see meaningful change in many areas such as immigration, the economy, welfare, healthcare and of course the issue of Islam.

Such meaningful change can really only morally be carried out by politicians acting on the will of the people, through Parliament. However to be in a position to make such change requires a vote that is worth something. If we remain within the EU any vote we make for an MP will be in effect worthless as we will be controlled by an unelected cabal in Brussels. This is because at present there are large number of areas where the EU is considered to have ‘competency’ and therefore the EU rules take precedence over anything that Parliament may decide.

To remain in the EU is relegating your Parliamentary vote to something about as powerful and meaningful as a Parish Council vote. Your right to vote in Parliamentary elections is a right bought, sometimes at very high price, by everyone from the Chartists and the suffragettes right though to those who lost their lives on the battlefield fighting against European tyrants. It would be a sin to throw that away either by voting Remain or, just as bad, staying at home on referendum day.

We should never forget the costs of staying at home on election days. The success of the ‘Apathy Party’ has been vital in keeping bad politicians in positions of power or allowing those of questionable character or policies, such as London Mayor Sadiq Khan to gain power. The Apathy Party of the stay-at-home’ers, makes the votes of those who are motivated to get out and vote even more powerful than they are. The stay-at-home’ers, also ensure that any dishonest or bent votes such as the sackloads of fraudulent Islamic postal votes have an unwarranted influence on elections. Every honest vote cancels out a dishonest one and that in it self should be reason enough to turn out and vote on Thursday.

Those who are considering voting Remain should consider just how much value their vote would have in a future where the EU dominates the UK even more than it does already? If the UK remains, then any future vote in a general election will be virtually meaningless, because the elected MP’s will not be able to change or repeal any laws that are set by the EU. To vote Remain is to condemn your children and grandchildren to a society where they have no say.

Those who are considering staying at home or not voting are saying to the nation that their vote is worth nothing, but I say to them, if we remain in the EU then we will find that our future votes are worth less than nothing.

It’s vital to vote, we may never get another chance again. It’s also vital to vote Leave so that we can protect our independence and reclaim our right to elect the governments of our choice.
