Watch and weep
Many of us have been gormless Lefties when we were young, it’s part of growing up for many people, but I’m bloody glad that the internet wasn’t around when I was a gormless Leftie. I’m pleased that my gormlessness wasn’t immortalised like this. Nice but politically dim is the best I can say about the woman in the video. I wish her the best for her life and hope she grows up a bit. The behaviour of the young remainers and socialists following the Brexit vote is giving many a lot of good reasons why maybe the voting age should be raised from 18 back up to 21.
OMGawd!! Raise it to 30 and ensure one is a home-owner! I am so sick of the BREXIT OUT vote being reduced to nothing but bigots, but this is the EU pablum these young ‘uns have been fed. Look at this creature, what is with the goggles!!?? Hoping to meet Geldof beneath the River Thames water line Flotilla-fest?
I don’t totally blame people like Holly for her views a lot of our young people have been fed all sorts of fact-lite guff in our schools by Left wing teachers.
There is a beautiful girl beneath all that junk…she’ll outgrow all this rubbish!
Agree there. I was as bit of a dickhead at 19. I quite like her outfit but then I’ve known quite a few Goths over the years.
Jesus wept, thick as two short planks. Wonder what she is studying? Education, education, education, that was a waste of money wasn’t it.
In a way I feel a bit sorry for her. She’s grown up with a Leftist education system staffed by Leftist teachers probably went on to sixth form steeped in Leftism was entertained and ‘informed’ by a Left leaning BBC. That sort of groupthink takes a lot of strength to escape from. I should know as I was a teenage leftist.
I was similar myself a youthful member of the Left, one of the problems that I perceive is that the current generation are being taught that they are ‘learning to think’. Underneath the rubbish she is spouting she is probably quite a bright, caring person. A healthy cynicism should be encouraged by parents to prevent this happening.
Stand by what I said re education, education and more education.
I’m in agreement with you there. I’m horrified to see what is happening with the UK education system. It’s a system dominated by the Left and like all systems dominated by ideologues whether from the Left or the Right, it doesn’t teach children how to think, and how to process data and come to a conclusion, but instead teaches children what to think, which to me is unacceptable. I concur with you that underneath the very obvious effects of Leftist brainwashing Holly is probably a bright and caring person and the Left does go for such individuals in order exploit people’s caring side. Looking back over my life and my own schooling with Leftist teachers I can see myself now how my own early attitudes were influenced by teachers who were avowed Communists, some of whom even used East German propaganda magazines as teaching materials and were allowed to get away with it.
I now am the proud parent of a ‘mid life surprise’ a bright, active 17 month old toddler who I refer to on here as Laughing Boy and I’m terrified at the prospect of sending him to school. I’m terrified because I can see that the indoctrination and bias is still there in the schools and although it may not be as obvious as some of the indoctrination that I had which was basically ‘East Germany and the Soviet Union good – capitalism bad, but is just as dangerous. I don’t want my child being told lies such as ‘Islam is a religion of peace’, nor, even though I support the rights of adults over the age of 21 to become transgender, want the trans ideology forced on him from four years old as is happening in Brighton. If I could afford the resources to do so then I would home school him, bypass the appalling and academically worthless GCSE and guide him towards the Singapore O level courses which is I believe, still available (although not for schools who are forbidden to use O level now)and still marked by the Oxbridge exam boards.
Our schools have become not places where basic information, the building blocks of knowledge are imparted, but places where ideology is spouted and I think that British children and young people are all the worse off for that change.
To add, yes I agree with you about teaching children to have a healthy level of cynicism, not too much but just enough to counter the outrageous crap that left wing teachers are filing our kids heads with.
Did she say she likes the EU because of the NHS and housing? The EU are rubber stamping TTIP and housing is swamped by migration?
