You’d think that a sensible local administration, knowing that the 3.1% of their population which is Muslim, had clocked up well over a thousand rapes, often of under-age and vulnerable young girls, would step back, shame-filled, from the council’s previous policy of pandering to Islam. Unfortunately sensible behaviour doesn’t seem to be in ready supply in the town of Rotherham,South Yorkshire.
Despite the town’s name becoming synonymous with the mass rape of non-Muslim girls by Muslims, it seems that the local authority is still entertaining mosque building and mosque extension project plans submitted by local Muslim groups. These Muslim groups it needs to be said did very little, bugger all in fact, to stop local Muslims from preying on children and young women.
According to the Rotherham Politics blog, plans have been submitted to build a mosque in Broom Lane, Broom, Rotherham and the application appears to be suspiciously low key. The first that some residents appear to have heard about this potential mosque imposition was when planning application notices went up in the local area. It may well be that the application may have been played down by the local authority so that the public consultation period would expire before any objections got going. Rotherham politics also appears to be of the opinion that this may be an attempt to slip through a low key planning application.
Here’s a picture of the planning application notice from Rotherham Politics
It does appear to be the case that the council and its planning department is extremely relaxed about the building of yet more facilities that only benefit the community that produced the rapists that have victimised the girls and young women of Rotherham. Rotherham needs to heal from the monstrous crimes that have been inflicted on all too many of its more vulnerable residents, it cannot do that if the council officers are pandering to Islam. It seems that council officers are still pandering as eagerly as they were before the revelations that such a small proportion of Rotherham’s population, was committing such a large number of rapes and sexual assaults.
A sensible approach on the part of Rotherham council would have to have a local moratorium on the building of facilities for Muslims. Although this will appear to some unfair, it needs to be remembered that although some of the perpetrators of these horrific crimes have been brought to justice, there are many more who have not been. Also, the local Muslim community must have known what was going on with regards the large amount of sexual exploitation being committed by members of their own community. After all the community was small enough in number and proportion of the population of the town for this to happen, but the Muslim community said and did absolutely nothing to stop these crimes.
To allow more mosques to be built in Rotherham is in effect rewarding the Muslim community for keeping schtum about the large amount of sex crime committed by their own people. This community that provided so many dangerous criminals should be punished for its knowing silence about what was and is going on in Rotherham and not be rewarded by allowing them to build yet another mosque.
