UPDATE 4 Sky News is reporting that this attack was the work of a lone nutcase and are attempting to link this to the alleged shooter’s liking for President Trump and the French populist leader Marine Le Pen. Some on social media believe that the Canadian media and police are still not telling the whole truth on this, but |I believe that the initial confusion among many about the perceived motives for this incident as being a Muslim on Muslim attack was due to a ‘fog of war’ factor and poor communication between police and public. UPDATE 3 According to a Fox News site there has been a clarification by the police in Quebec stating that Alexandre Bissonnette a student from a nearby university is the sole suspect and that the Mohammedan that they had arrested earlier was in fact a witness. UPDATE 2: 18:30Hrs GMT various reports are suggestion that there has only been one alleged shooter by the name of ‘Bissonnette’. At this point we do not know why the shooter shouted ‘Allah hu Akbar’ during the attack. neither the Canadian police nor Canadian media have done anything meaningful to give the public accurate information about either the attack nor who was suspected of being involved

The news that a gunman had gone on the rampage at a mosque in Quebec, Canada brought out of the woodwork the usual ‘Islamophobia’ whiners. A Canadian Imam and Britain’s disgraced and thoroughly dishonest Tell Mama organisation among others climbed aboard the ‘hate crime’ bandwagon. The Imam whined about an incident previously where a pigs head had been left outside the mosque and Tell Mama, well they just whined and made their normal dishonest mouth noises about an ‘increase in Islamophobia’ in Quebec.
According to the Toronto Star the reason for this attack, or so say the representatives of some Canadian Muslims, was ‘Islamophobia’ The Star said:
Mohamed Yangui, president of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec, said in an interview Sunday evening that there had been no recent threats or incidents targeting the mosque or members of the community, although there was one high-profile hate incident in which someone left a severed pig’s head at the entrance to the community centre last June during Ramadan with a note reading: “Bon appetit.” Observant Muslims refrain from eating pork.
Asked who might commit such an act, or why, Yangui said: “I have no idea. Really, no idea.”
In a statement, the Canadian Council of Imams condemned the killings, which it attributed to “Islamophobia.”
“Our message to anyone in the Canadian Muslim community who may experience Islamophobia is not to suffer in silence. We must report acts of hate and bring them to the attention of our fellow citizens,” the statement read.
In the light of later information that came out showing that at least one of the alleged perpetrators was a Moroccan Muslim it may well turn out that the ‘Islamophobia’ claim is baseless, as so many of these claims turn out to be.
In Britain the mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artists and serial plunderers of UK taxpayer’s money, Fiyaz Mughal’s Tell Mama group really went to town on the ‘Islamophobia’ aspect of this story. They are playing this aspect up and concentrating on the ‘attacks by pork’ incidents or alleged incidents in the past. They are also trying to tie this in with an attack on another Canadian mosque which Tell Mama say was carried out in revenge for the Paris Islamic attacks in November 2015. On the Tell Mama website, after reporting the basic facts, the group said:
Incidents of Islamophobia increased in Quebec in recent years amid a political debate over banning the niqab, or Muslim face covering. In 2013, police investigated after a mosque in the Saguenay region of Quebec was splattered with what was believed to be pig blood.
In the neighbouring province of Ontario, a mosque was set on fire in 2015, a day after an attack by gunmen and suicide bombers in Paris.
The behaviour of the Imam and the liars of Tell Mama is normal for the aftermath of such events. T There’s the usual ‘oh the calamity, look at the Islamophobia’ that they and those like them come out with. However in this case things appear to be different and it seems both the Imam and Britain’s least favourite ‘hate crime’ charlatans may well have to backtrack on their ‘Islamophobia’ claims. This is because if the information that has recently been published by Jihad Watch is correct and that at least one of these attackers were Muslim, then it puts a completely different slant on the attack.
This is what Jihad Watch has said:
The establishment propaganda media is full of handwringing this morning about “Islamophobia” being the cause of the attack. Everyone is ignoring the fact that the CBC reported, that the gunmen were screaming “Allahu akbar.” And now we learn from La Presse that one of the murderers was Moroccan.
A Moroccan “right-wing Islamophobe”? Those are somewhat thin on the ground in Rabat and Casablanca and Fez. It is much more likely that the shooting was, as I said yesterday, Muslims who were firing upon other Muslims whom they deemed heretical: a Sunni-Shia dispute, or adherents of the Islamic State versus opponents of it.
In a previous article on the 29th January 2017, on the subject of the Quebec attack Jihad Watch said:
The shooters could be “Islamophobes” who screamed “Allahu akbar” mockingly. Or they could be Muslims who were firing upon other Muslims whom they deem heretical: a Sunni-Shia dispute, or adherents of the Islamic State versus opponents of it.
In any case, this is being covered as if it were an “anti-Muslim hate crime,” and it may be. However, this story that notes that the gunmen were screaming “Allahu akbar” is notably free of the laments about “Islamophobia” that were in earlier stories about the shooting. There is no certainty at this point that it was an “anti-Muslim hate crime,” and the screams of “Allahu akbar” open up the possibility that this was yet another “anti-Muslim hate crime” committed by Muslims.
If the information about the Moroccan suspect is correct, and Jihad Watch can normally be considered to be reliable, then this is not an anti Muslim attack but one committed by Muslims on other Muslims. If that is the case then it is, as some people say, a ‘savage on savage’ attack. It is highly likely in the light of these revelations about the identity of at least one of the suspects that this is not an attack that has anything to do with ‘Islamophobia’ and everything to do with the violent hate filled ideology of Islam itself.
