This blog, along with a number of other writers and campaigners has highlighted the woefully pro-Islam attitudes of West Midlands Police. However one of their recent statements, on the subject of Female Genital Mutilation, left me boiling with anger. Following an episode of the BBC drama series ‘Call the Midwife’, which dealt with the issue of FGM, West Midlands Police decided that they would use the publicity surrounding the programme to highlight the force’s policy on dealing with FGM. It transpires that the policy of West Midlands Police to FGM is to ‘do nothing’ and only prosecute if ‘it was in the best interests of the child’. Basically what it boils down to is they will do the square root of sod all to deal with this mainly Islamic problem, primarily it seems because it is an Islamic problem.

West Midlands Police put out a statement on their Twitter feed which in response to a challenge to the forces perceived policy of doing nothing which read:

@Manda_Ponium Hi Manda – education and safeguarding vulnerable girls is the focus. Prosecuting / jailing parents unlikely to benefit child.

In other words they will use the fact that the abusive cutting parents may be jailed as an excuse for not prosecuting FGM. The force has since deleted this tweet and tried to backtrack once their realised that there disgraceful pandering to Islam had been exposed. There then was a series of Tweets from a Detective Constable Squires who is said to be the FGM expert for West Midlands Police. These tweets, in reverse chronological order read:

I am familiar with the Islamopandering policies of West Midlands Police, they are a force that never seems to miss an opportunity to wave around their ‘diversity’ credentials and pander to Islamic culture and ‘values‘. They are a force that did very little to stem the tide of Islamic Rape Gang crime and eagerly prosecute anyone who they perceive who ‘insults Islam’, including prosecuting a man who ripped up his own copy of a Koran as a protest against Islam. I have become sadly used to seeing West Midlands Police engaging in appalling acts of appeasement towards the ‘religion of rape and terror’, but even I am shocked by the degree of appeasement and dereliction of duty that West Midlands Police’s ‘softly softly’ approach to FGM represents.

Their statement, using weasel words, that they would prosecute FGM, if ‘it was in the best interests of the child’, is constructed in such a way as to give West Midlands Police an excuse why they do not and more than likely will not, prosecute those who carry out FGM. It’s pertinent to ask whether West Midlands Police would take the same attitude of only prosecuting if it is in the best interests of the child if the alleged offender was a non-Muslim man who had sexually assaulted their daughter? My guess is that they would not and would happily, and rightly recommend prosecution or send the file to the Crown Prosecution Service for a decision on whether or not to go ahead.

This is the moment when West Midlands Police were exposed to the world for what they truly are, which is a force that cannot be trusted with the safety of those under their purview, including Muslim girls who have the most bestial abuse inflicted on them, often by their own parents. West Midlands Police are a force unfit for purpose. Over the years and under successive Chief Constables, the West Midlands Police force have become a byword for communal Islamic corruption and have appeased the ideology of Islam to such an extent that is it is beyond me how anyone can respect the force or the officers who belong to this force.

The statement put out by West Midlands Police represents a blatant and sick-making attempt by the force to circumvent the law and not prosecute an offence that needs to be vehemently cracked down upon. This case is another example of how West Midlands Police seem to place the idea of not ‘offending’ Islam above anything and everything else.
