With a monotonous regularity, claims made by Muslims, including Muslims in America, that they have been subjected to assaults of threats because they are Muslim, are turning out to be fake. These fake ‘Islamophobic’ crimes are committed for a variety of reasons including avoidance of family troubles when Muslim women are breaking male imposed curfews and in order to make law enforcement and non Muslims feel sorry for the fake victims. Fake Islamophobic crimes are also concocted so that attention seekers can get attention and also to advance the cause of Islam. Also, in the UK we have had Islamic groups promoting fake stories for over a year despite them being proven in court to be fake. There have also been cases where Muslims are suspected of burning down their own mosques in order to get the taxpayer to fund the building of a new one.
Across the world there is a epidemic of fake ‘Islamophobic’ crimes and this ‘crying wolf’ is going to end up with the general population treating every claim made by those claiming that they are attacked because of they are Muslim as if it was untrue. It’s like the kneejerk smear of ‘far right’ that the Left aim at every person or group who is opposed to Islam, eventually there will come a time when the term ‘far right’ is justified in being used but nobody will take it seriously.
The latest incident of fake ‘Islamophobic’ crime comes from Indiana in the United States where a Muslim college professor faked death threats presumably in order to gain sympathy for himself and the ideology of Islam that he follows. In the Indiana case, which has been relayed by the Front Page Magazine website, the Muslim professor’s ‘Islamophobia’ lie was busted when police started to investigate the alleged crime. Below you will find an excerpt from the Front Page Magazine article, written by Daniel Greenfield. Front Page Magazine said:
Indiana State University has announced that an assistant professor of aviation technology has been arrested for allegedly creating fake anti-Muslim threats back in March.
The charges reportedly stem from a series of emails that were received on campus containing anti-Muslim messages and threats.
On March 8, a series were emails were reported that allegedly specifically mentioned Azhar Hussain as a target.
“Based upon the investigation, it is our belief that Hussain was trying to gain sympathy by becoming a victim of anti-Muslim threats which he had created himself,” said Joseph Newport, chief of ISU’s police department.
On March 24, Hussain reported an alleged assault in the College of Technology in which he said he was thrown to the floor.
During the investigation, the ISU Police collaborated with the FBI and the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office.

This case I believe represents the tip of the iceberg when it comes to fake anti Islam crime. There are so many of these ‘fake hate crimes’ reported by Muslims then it will make many people, even those who are not ideologically opposed to Islam, become suspicious. I do wonder just how many of these ‘fake hate crimes’ that have previously been treated by the police and criminal justice system as true, are in fact devoid of any truth whatsoever. More seriously we should wonder whether or not individuals have been convicted and even given custodial sentences on the basis of these ‘fake hate crimes’.
Although any group or individual could fake an allegation of a crime for personal gain, or to settle a personal score, these fake ‘Islamophobic’ allegations are different. These ‘fake Islamophobic crimes’ are too often concocted in order to convince non Muslim societies to feel sorry for Muslims or to persuade naïve people and groups to give the Muslim individual or Muslim group some political advantage.
The prevalence of these fake ‘hate crime’ accusations has become so common now that when confronted with them it is probably sensible to treat the accusations with a considerable degree of suspicion. If we do not then we could find ourselves being manipulated into giving money or influence to those individuals and groups who don’t deserve it because they have lied in order to get it.
