….a possible bomb.

Another worrying story from France via the Daily Express. An explosion rocked a McDonald’s restaurant in Grenoble, France yesterday and judging by the police activity and the fact that the French bomb disposal squad were called in, it could be a deliberate explosion.

The Daily Express said:

Dozens of diners fled the fast-food diner after an eplosion and fire at around 11.30am local time (10.30am GMT). 

Staff reported seeing flames in an upstairs bathroom shortly before the blast in the south-east of France. 

Their are also unconfirmed reports a suspect package had been spotted in the bathroom just moments before. 

Police said they suspect a ‘criminal origin’ – although they have not clarified whether this constitutes arson or an explosive device. 

Although this could concievably be unconnected to the rash of Islamic terror attacks that France is suffering from and could be the work of lefty lunatics, there is a fair chance that this explosion could be ‘everything to do with Islam’. When I heard that the explosion happened in a toilet in the restaurant my mind raced back to a similar attack that took place in the Giraffe restaurant in Exeter in 2008. In that case a mentally disturbed man converted to Islam (you don’t have to be mad to choose Islam but it helps) built a bomb which went off prematurely and which thankfully only injured the bomber himself. I wonder if the Grenoble explosion has a similar perpetrator with a similar background to Nicky Reilly the Exeter bomber? It’s not beyond the bounds of possibility.

Mentally ill people are so vulnerable to brainwashing by Islamic extremists that I wonder whether it’s time for psychatric professionals to start to consider conversion to Islam as being just as much as a sign that things are not all well with the patient as a suicide attempt or the patient becoming detached from reality? Someone who is mentally unwell who chooses Islam should ring alarm bells and they should be immediately sectioned in a secure unit both for their own good and for the good of others.
