We’ve seen this happen so many, many times before. Non Muslim converts from Christianity to Islam and then ends up becoming involved in a terror plot. As I have said before we don’t see this with converts to other religions, we don’t see converts to Christianity or Judaism chomping at the bit to commit acts of violence, it’s only in converts to Islam that this phenomena occurs.

According to an Associated Press report reprinted by Breitbart a Bulgarian court has sent an Islamic convert to prison for engaging in weapons training in connection with potential Islamic terror activities.

A court in Bulgaria has sentenced a 21-year-old man to four years in prison for planning to commit an act of terrorism.

Sofia’s Special Criminal Court on Monday found John “Ivan” Zahariev, a dual Australian-Bulgarian citizen, guilty of training as a terrorist with the intention of carrying out a terrorist act.

Zahariev had a Christian upbringing in Australia, but later converted to Islam. He has been in custody since September, when he was arrested for training at shooting ranges in Bulgaria with the alleged intention of going to Syria to join jihadi groups.

Zahariev denied the charges. After the verdict, he said he had been subjected to a show trial and that no evidence connected him to the Islamic State group.

This is why Islam is different, it’s a path that is both violent and promotes violence.

Those who choose Islam are too often those who have a propensity for violence and they find a home in an ideology that was born in violence and expands via violence. You don’t see Christian converts going on terror training courses and neither do you see Jews doing the same. It’s only Islam where you have the spectacle of a large number of new adherents choosing the path of violence and that is something that should worry us immensely.
