It seems that the far Left pro Islam open borders group Hope Not Hate have had an unwelcome surprise with the results of one of their recent surveys on attitudes to Islam. According to a report published in the left of centre ‘Independent’ news website (H/T ROP) 42% of English people now have a lower level of trust for Muslims than they once may have had with a total of 52% of those surveyed also stating that Islam is a threat to the West. On top of these very large figures for dislike and distrust of Islam, 25% of the 4000 individuals surveyed believe that Islam is a dangerous religion that incites violence.
The Independent said:
More than four in 10 people in England are more suspicious of Muslims as a result of recent terrorist attacks, despite the country becoming more tolerant and open overall, according to a major new study.
Figures reveal that following recent incidents in Westminster, Manchester and Borough Market, 42 per cent of people have less trust for Muslims in Britain, while more than half (52 per cent) believe Islam is a threat to the West.
A quarter of English people also believe that Islam is a dangerous religion that incites violence, with older people more prone to expressing Islamophobic views, according to the Populus poll, published in a report by campaign group HOPE not Hate.
None of these figures are very surprising bearing in mind the horrific atrocities that Islam has brought to the UK. It’s also unsurprising that older people, many of whom may remember what Britain was like before the savagery of Islam arrived, have far higher levels of animosity to the religion of death and rape, than younger people may have.
Groups like Hope Not Hate and various mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artists such as the Tell Mama organisation may wail and gnash their teeth at these figures, but to be quite frank it’s natural that people will dislike an ideology that engages not only in mass murder but in mass rape as well. In many cases this animosity will be directed at the followers of this ideology as well as the ideology itself.
What’s interesting about these Hope Not Hate figures is that they come at a time when people appear to be becoming more tolerant towards different groups and the negative attitudes to Islam appear to be an exception. What this tells us is that Britons are remarkably tolerant towards Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and gays for example, but quite rightly recognise that very few of the followers of these paths are in any way problematical but Muslims, the followers of Islam are a problem.
I can’t really blame the English for disliking Islam and losing their trust in Muslims. The constant stream of terrorist attacks, serious crime, the Islamic Rape Gang phenomena and the constant whining and demands for special and advantageous treatment for Muslims from Muslim leaders, has not exactly endeared Islam or its followers to the English people. Although the English have, sometimes grudgingly and sometimes enthusiastically welcomed people from a great many different backgrounds, they see Islam for the threat that it is.
These figures are remarkable as they come at a time when there is a revolting amount of pro Islam propaganda being put out by the BBC, Channel 4, the left wing press and our educational establishment. You would expect with so much pro Islam propaganda that the figures for dislike and distrust of Islam to be much much lower than they are? Maybe the English are starting to see Islam for what it really is, which is the equivalent of an unwanted house-guest at a dinner party who moans about the food, moans about the drink, defecates in the hosts fridge and then whines piteously about how terrible it is that there’s a steaming turd sitting in the fridge. It seems that at least 42% of the nation of England have their heads screwed on properly when it comes to Islam and they know that Islam is a clear and present danger to our nation and our families and are ignoring the gross lie put out by the Establishment that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’
