I have to say ‘well done Israel’ for publicly turning away senior European Union politicians and administrators that hate Israel. It is every country’s right to disallow entry to those who mean the nation and its people no good and Israel has used that right.
Why should Israel, or any country for that matter allow through its borders those who call for that nations destruction or for damage to be done to it. Why also should visitors, even high profile ones, be allowed access not only to a nation but also to that nations prisons in order to hobnob with those who have taken part in terrorism against that nation? I can’t see a reason why a nation should.

Israel on Monday announced that it will bar the entry of a delegation of European officials due to their efforts in promoting boycotts of the Jewish state.
Interior Minister Aryeh Deri said in a statement that he will heed Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan’s recommendation to deny entry to the group’s 20 participants, including French dignitaries and members of the European Parliament.
The group, which was scheduled to tour Israel and the Palestinian Authority territories from Nov 19-23, said that one of the main goals of the trip was to meet the high-level Palestinian terrorist Marwan Barghouti, who is currently serving five life sentences in an Israeli jail for orchestrating terror attacks during the second Intifada. They intended to offer Barghouti and other Palestinian security prisoners their support.
No doubt the EU and the Israel hating political Left will whine and whine about this decision, but Israel is correct to put its security first and keep out this EU BDS crowd. You would not open your front door if you knew there was a demented bloke with an axe standing outside would you and neither should nations allow in those who are motivated by a desire to destroy your nation. Israel’s done the right thing it’s seen a danger and acted against it. Maybe it’s time for other Western nations to follow suit and exclude from entry the Islamic hate preachers who currently have free access to places like the United Kingdom, where they incite hatred for us and hatred for Britain.
