The ex Muslim counter Jihad activist Shazia Hobbs took a trip to Edinburgh the capital of Scotland on Saturday the 25th November and below is her account of the march. It’s also an account of the bafflingly stupid Lefties who by shouting ‘racist’ at an anti terror demonstration, make themselves look to the public as if the Left supports terror. As she said in her piece below, its sanity, not racism to oppose terrorism and the twisted and to oppose the frightening ideologies that inspire and cause terrorism.
Anyway here’s the piece by Ms Shazia Hobbs. As usual it’s excellent and is a valuable counterbalance to the narrative of the mainstream media which insists on dishonestly calling Islam ‘a religion of peace’ and describing everyone who opposes Islam, no matter what their religion, race or political opinion may be, as ‘far right’.
Veterans against Terrorism – By Shazia Hobbs
All sane people should be against terrorism yet many on the left seem to think it is racist to be against terrorism.
Richard Inman an ex soldier and one of the speakers at the event was accused of ‘making disturbing comments about Islam.’ Hello? Islam itself is disturbing.
There was no mention anywhere, online or in any msm of the three apostates who were speaking at the event, myself included.

I was not surprised to learn that there would be a counter protest to our march. It seems anytime there is a march to highlight and raise awareness of the dangers of Islam the great unwashed come out in force to protest.
We marched along with veterans and football lads; there were many people who were not walking alongside us as the police changed the starting point and time for march to begin, several times. I was told the night before we would be setting off at noon the next day and then it was changed to 10am and on the morning it was changed again to 11am.
The ‘Stop Racism’ crowd who were counter protesting were a bunch of angry old white men, screeching refugees were welcome.
The fact that they were protesting those who were against terrorism means they were for terrorism? What do refugees have to do with terrorism?
I went over to speak to them and ask why it was racist to be against terrorism. The majority of the small crowd of people were white men and women, I saw one Muslim man.
Those they were accusing of being racist had Bengali, Pakistani, Irish, Italian and mixed race people in the crowd.
Who are the racists?
Ms Hobbs is correct with her final question of ‘who are the racists’? It’s certainly not the Veterans Against Terror or those from the Football Lads Alliance or any of those from the many avowedly anti racist counter Islam groups that have sprung up. In my view, based on my experience of both these counter Islam groups and of the Left, the biggest racists at this event were the Leftist counter protesters. It is they who don’t want black and brown people to leave the Leftist reservation that the Left has created for them. It is the Left that wants to put people into discrete boxes marked black/brown/Islam/white or whatever.
This sort of shouty Lefty cannot see people as individuals but as members of groups, rather than be like Dr King and say that what should distinguish a person is not the colour of their skin but the content of their character. This small group of about a dozen or so counterprotesters who were predominantly white and seemingly middle class, waved their ‘Socialist Workers Party -Refugees Welcome Here’ banners at the several hundred Veterans Against Terrorism protesters which included a number of black and brown Britons.
These Leftists are filled with so much hatred for ordinary people who are taking the time to stand up to a series of great wrongs that they have become the very racists whom they think they are protesting against. Who are the racists, indeed.
I’m really glad this event went so well despite the police trying to play silly buggers with the timing of the event.
