For this story I’m indebted to one of this blog’s Indian contacts for supplying the source to me and it’s a tale that shows Islamic Dawa merchants (evangelists) at their most cynical and exploitative.

An Islamic orphanage in the central-southern Indian city of Hydrabad has allegedly been involved in a scheme to lure poor children away from their families and forcibly convert them to Islam. According to a report on the India Today news site, 9 Muslim men have been arrested for encouraging conversion to Islam by offering starving children food in exchange for conversion. This creation of ‘rice Muslims’ is appalling and although other outward facing and evangelical faiths have done similar things in the past, in Christianity for example this practise is increasingly forbidden by missionary groups, this Hydrabad incident is particularly shocking as Muslims trawled for children to convert. India Today said:

The Rachakonda Police of Hyderabad on Sunday arrested nine persons for allegedly converting children to Islam .

The arrested accused were running an orphanage named Peace Orphan Home Society and were luring children from poor families of Telangana and making them to convert to Islam by assuring free education, food and shelter.

Police has rescued 17 children in the age group of 4-14 years, including 7 girls from Moula Ali area on the complaint of the Districts Child Welfare Officials.

This lot were not innocently trying to do ‘good works’ by feeding and educating the poor, as the members of some other faith groups do, these Muslims were mercilessly exploiting these children and their families. They apparently went around the surrounding rural villages, where some people living a hand to mouth existence, and dazzled the parents with tales of the sort of opportunities that this orphanage could give their children and these parents, probably wanting the best for their children, agreed to send them to the Peace Orphan Home Society. However unbeknown to the parents the Home was a front for a massive, cynical and exploitative Dawa operation. If the police managed to rescue 17 children when the Home was investigated, it makes me wonder just how many children have been stolen and warped by these Mohammedan Child Catchers while they were operating? They must have stolen and warped the minds of hundreds of children before they were caught.

The India Today site continued:

While the police has 9 accused, including prime accused Mohammed Siddiqi alias Satyanarayana and eight others, search for one more accused is on.

“They were luring parents from tribal areas of Bhadrachalam, Mahabubnagar, Khammam and Warangal districts of Telangana and converting them illegally,” said Mahesh M Bhagwat CP Rachakonda while speaking to India Today.

These were not honest, legitimate conversions undertaken by people of sound mind and of the age of majority, these were forced conversions, conversions at the point of the sword of hunger and fear. The ringleader of this forced conversion gang and it appears many of the others involved in it are themselves converts to Islam. Siddiqi appears, going by the name, to be a convert to Islam from Hinduism. They hid their new Islamic identities from the authorities and those around them in what appears to be an attempt to more completely fool Hindu and other non Muslim families into parting with their children. What utter and complete scum this gang is.

The India Today site added:

The main accused Siddiqui converted to Islam in 2003-2004 and started Peace Orphan Society in Warangal and last year he started running a school-cum-hostel in Hyderabad.

“The organisers who himself are converted to Islam intentionally not changed their names to obtain reservation for future government services. They are in opinion that using their position they can convert huge number of people to Islam,” added CP Mahesh Bhagwat.

Police are also investigating the source of funds for the NGO.

As well they should. This looks like an awfully suspicious organisation and I would not be surprised to find Arab money or money from the Muslim diaspora lurking in the accounts of the Peace Orphan Society. This money is being used to strongarm poor families into letting their children be removed from their homes and indoctrinated under threat into converting to Islam. This is child abuse, this is Islam in action.

What this case represents is a form of Dawa via taqiyya, evangelism by dishonesty and fraud, and it is a tactic that can take many forms in different parts of the world. In this Indian case it involves the stealing of children and their forcible indoctrination into Islam, but in other societies, such as those in the West, such Dawa via taqiyya can take the form of coercion by the State in the name of ‘diversity’. The forced mosque visits by schools or the wildly dishonest textbooks that whitewash Islam in educational establishments are both forms of this Dawa via Taqiyya.

Islam is an ideology built on moral depravity, violence and fear and this is yet another case that shows this most clearly. Everyone has a right to their own faith but this is a view that Islam and its adherents often do not respect. These Muslims could not just dispassionately help those who needed it, instead they used hunger and fear to coerce conversions in exchange for food. These people have put their religious ideology ahead of common humanity and as such should be condemned.
