The last 24 hours or so has seen a meltdown at ‘Mountebank Mansions’, the headquarters of Tell Mama, the troubled and indeed troubling ‘Islamophobia’ monitoring organisation. The tweeting of videos by President Donald Trump that originated with the nationalist group Britain First has sent this group into a flurry of indignation. Of course, like many of the Leftists, deluded liberals and similar groups, the mendacious grievance mongering taqiyya artists of Tell Mama were not at all concerned with what the three videos contained, just about the group that originated them. Two of these videos show proven examples of Islamic savagery and it’s remarkably illustrative of where Tell Mama’s priorities lie that they seem not to care that the videos show violence and destruction carried out by followers of a Islam, but only that President Trump used as a source a group that Tell Mama plainly do not like.
Tell Mama, as can be seen from their recent social media output have had a fit of the screaming abdabs over the Trump tweets which is liable to be counterproductive to their own cause. If you are not one of the thousands upon thousands of people who have been banned from following Tell Mama on Twitter because you have criticised this group, then you will see how much Trumps Tweets have disconcerted them.
The Tell Mama time line was full of breathless indignation about the Trump Tweets on the subject of Islamic atrocities both from Tell Mama itself and a Greek Chorus of pro-Islam groups from both the political Left and from the political classes. Tell Mama even exploited for political gain a naïve ‘forgiveness’ and ‘love trumps hate’ type comment from the family of one of the victims of the Islamic atrocity that occurred in Manchester earlier this year. They re tweeted nearly every anti Trump comment from the House of Commons debate on the furore, including from Members of Parliament who have completely lost their minds and have called for President Trump to be arrested under Britain’s draconian ‘hate speech’ laws.
Tell Mama co-opted every single dodgy often publicly funded ‘diversity’ group, community organisation, politician and Islam-appeasing police officer they could find in their quest to attack President Trump. Tell Mama relentlessly attacked the messenger, Britain First, but studiously ignored the message itself which is that the followers of Islam are committing appalling atrocities across the world in the name of Islam. Tell Mama made the point of highlighting the statement made by the Mayor of Greater London Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan in which the pint sized pillock called for any State Visit by President Trump to be called off.
Tell Mama have behaved in the hyperbolic and indeed the dishonest way that many observers of this organisation have come to expect. They even re tweeted comments from those who say that ISIS is ‘nothing to do with Islam’, even though it’s very plain to see that ISIS are everything to do with Islam. ISIS and groups like them take as their foundational document the Koran and their ethos from the very dark heart of the Islamic ideology. At one point Tell Mama appeared to step over the line and raise the spectre of ‘community’ violence over the Trump tweets and against the President himself. In on particular Tweet they said they were ‘proud’ of the MP’s who had stood up and denounced the potential visit by President Trump and said that ‘community demonstrations’ i.e. outbreaks of violence by left wingers and Muslims would occur if the President visited Britain. This may look a little like a threat to some, an example of someone saying ‘nice country you have there, shame if it got damaged in a ‘community demonstration’ wouldn’t it?’ it reminds me a little of the words of Lord Ahmed, a repugnant individual who in 2009 threatened Parliament with a demonstration of ‘10,000 Muslims’, if a planned showing of Geert Wilders ‘Fitna’ film at Parliament was not cancelled. The film showing was subsequently cancelled by the Parliamentary authorities presumably because of the threat of Islamic violence if the film was played on the Parliamentary estate.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom from Mountebank Mansions, at one point they had to apologise for their social media being ‘unbecoming of the standards we set for ourselves‘ about some of their social media posts. Tell Mama have also yet again forgotten about The Streisand Effect and by going so over the top on the issue of the Trump tweets has shown to the world that they care little for the victims of Islamic terrorism whether they be Muslims, non Muslims or ex Muslims. Tell Mama cry their usual crocodile tears following Islamic attacks, but the fact that they are more vexed by President Trump using a source they don’t approve of than the fact that some of the videos show Islamic atrocities, should tell us all we need to know about this disgusting and dishonest group that has grown fat and influential on taxpayer funding. Perversely, Tell Mama’s hyperbole over the Trump tweets and their highlighting of the emotive outpourings of pro Islam MP’s doesn’t seem to have had the desired effect in cowing the British public into mouthing anti-Trump slogans or getting in line behind their ‘Islamophobia’ nonsense. If anything it’s had the reverse effect. I’m seeing a marked increase in the number of social media accounts by people who consider themselves to be non racist and who thirty years or so ago would be considered mainstream centre right / centre left types, who are siding with Trump for highlighting the problems of Islamic violence. Also, by going so over the top with their Trump derangement syndrome they have publicised to a much wider audience than may have been aware before, the fact that too many of our elected representatives seem to care for the hurt feelings of Muslims than just about anything else. Far from eliciting condemnation from the average man in the street of Britain First, what I’m hearing is that people outside of the diversity industry bubble are saying ‘so what if it was Britain First who put these videos out, what is important is the content’.
Tell Mama’s response to the Trump tweets has exposed them for the censorious authoritarians that they and their political backers and funders such as Sajid Javid the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) really are. Tell Mama and those who fund and support them do not wish the public to know about or discuss the appalling Islamic atrocities that are being inflicted on innocent people throughout the world including the United Kingdom. They are so adamant that we should not be told of the problems that Islam the ideology causes that they shoot the messengers, Britain First and President Trump, rather than admit that Islam far from being a religion of peace, is a religion of death and destruction. Tell Mama have moved far beyond what could be called the reasonable aim of monitoring attacks on a particular group and have become censorious in the extreme. Tell Mama are enemies of free speech and as such should no longer be in receipt of the vast amounts of public money that has been consistently shovelled their way by entities such as the DCLG.
