Sometimes politicians can come out with statements that are breathtaking in their stupidity and which reveal the individual’s lack of either self awareness or the awareness of what their policies are doing. When examining German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s statement on the occasion of Holocaust Memorial Day if find it difficult to exclude the words ‘stupid’ and ‘lacking in self awareness’ from the description of her words.
According to a report on Breitbart, Frau Merkel bemoaned the appalling situation which now exists for Germany’s Jewish population. She decried the rise in anti Semitism and the fact that Jewish communal events and Jewish property now needs armed guards. It is right that the German Chancellor should point out that Jews in Germany are considerably less safe there now than they were ten years or so ago. However, it’s plain to see that Frau Merkel suffers from some sort of cognitive dissonance about this issue. At the same time as she is highlighting the fact that Jew hatred is rising in Germany she is also the cause of this hatred. After all it is Merkel’s Muslims whom her government invited into Germany, which are now happily trashing the country and engaging in the sort of enthusiastic Jew hatred that Germany had once successfully consigned to the history books. How can she have the front to denounce Jew-hatred with one breath whilst being simultaneously the architect of the majority of security problems facing Germany’s Jews? It beggars belief it really does
It was Frau Merkel’s government which opened Germany’s doors to some of the most virulent and violent Jew haters on the planet, those from Islamic lands. It is her bunch of mobile Muslim mayhem that is the reason why armed police have to guard synagogues and why cities that were once safe for Jews and indeed other Germans are rapidly becoming no go zones.
I cannot for the life of me work out how Merkel’s policy could not have ended up causing an increase in Jew hatred? Did no responsible German politician or advisor tell Merkel that bringing in people steeped in Jew hatred from birth and brought up with all manner of Islamic conspiracy theories about Jews, may not be a good idea? If they did the Frau Merkel ignored them. Merkel seems to have decided that she can believe more than half a dozen impossible things before breakfast, such as that Germany has some sort of ‘magic dirt’ that will miraculously turn Jew hating Islamic savages into responsible citizens overnight.
The reality of Merkel’s policy is her imported Muslims have not suddenly turned into contributory and law abiding citizens instantly by mere dint of stepping onto German soil. Merkel’s Muslims have brought with them all the problems that have consistently retarded the development of the Islamic world. They have brought to Germany their misogyny, their crime, their bestial religion, their violence, supremacism and their noted and virulent hatred of Jews.
I consider Merkel’s concern about the increasing security plight of German Jews to be both empty and worthless. It’s laudable of course that she shows concern for Germany’s Jews, but it would been far better for all German citizens as well as Jews, had her and her government not imported any of the violent and hate-filled Muslims that are the root cause of the Jew hatred that has sparked Frau Merkel’s concern. For Frau Merkel to complain about the anti-Semitism that is the result of her importation of Islamic Jew haters en masse, is the height of chutzpah and leaves a particularly nasty taste in the mouth.
