This blog recently brought to its readers the story of the alphabet soup of sedition that is the HBTSR organisation, which is helping to dump unwanted and potentially dangerous ‘refugees’ on the people of Herefordshire, other parts of the Welsh Marches area and on to Wales itself. HBTSR, or to give it its full name Hay, Brecon and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees has not only been helping to impose these ‘refugees’ on areas that have hitherto escaped the sort of ‘enrichment’ that has ruined other areas, but have also been pandering to them with social and entertainment events.
However, it’s not HBTSR, dodgy naïve middle class leftists that they are, that concerns this particular article. Instead this piece is about another group in Worcestershire, the neighbouring county to Herefordshire that are also dumping potentially dangerous ‘refugees’ on the town of Malvern.
Malvern for those who don’t know the place is a beautiful and historic town set in the Malvern Hills. It is a town in an area of outstanding natural beauty, has a popular theatre and has a long history as a spa town. It is a town that is a delight to spend time in with lovely pubs and restaurants and high quality shops.
But there is one major blight on the town, a blight that is liable to reduce the quality of life for those who were either born in Malvern or who chose to live there and work there. That blight is an organisation called ‘Malvern Welcomes’ which like the aforementioned HBTSR organisation is dedicated to imposing as many Islamic ‘refugees’ as they can on the people of Malvern.
Malvern Welcomes is, as we can expect run by a bunch of middle class do-gooders who see no wrong in bringing to Malvern people from cultures that are often dominated by hatefulness, superstition and backwardness. These ‘refugees’ are also from groups that are noticeably over-represented in Europe when it comes to crimes such as rape, mass sexual assault and jihad. This group also has managed to get support from some local councillors for this group’s refugee dumping policy. You don’t need me to tell you that councillors supporting dodgy ‘refugees welcome’ groups like Malvern Welcomes, rarely ends up well for local people. As is so often the case, it is often local people in the poorest areas who suffer from the placement of those assisted to Britain by virtue signallers like Malvern Welcomes.
The middle class lefties and the idiotic councillors who are promoting the dumping of ‘refugees’ on Malvern will of course not be the ones who will suffer the sexual and other crimes that other Syrian ‘refugees’ have brought to Europe, the rest of us will. This is because these ‘Syrians’ do not exactly have a reputation for good behaviour, many of them have turned out to be vicious criminals.
I would be completely unsurprised to find out at some later date that one of the Islamic pets whom Malvern Welcomes is pandering to goes ‘full Islam’ and embarks on a rape and jihad spree. I would suppose that if this happened then those behind this group will shake their heads in puzzlement. After all how could those behind Malvern Welcomes possibly be expected to know that people from retarded, misogynistic and violent cultures such as that which dominates Syria would end up bringing their misogyny, violence and cultural retardation to Malvern or one of the other places where these ‘refugees’ are being imposed?
Those behind ‘Malvern Welcomes’ are from backgrounds that are steeped in Leftism and in the failing ideology of multiculturalism. The management committee of this group is composed of among others, a liberal Christian, a former mental health social worker from East London, a solicitor, a woman who had taught music in Tanzania, an academic specialising in criminal justice, a couple of lefty ex social workers and assorted public sector non-job holders. In other words the very people who so often turn their noses up at British people in distress, but who are quite prepared to lavish resources and attention on foreigners, and worse, foreigners who frankly should not be here and who are likely to end up as either a burden or a threat to the rest of us.
Malvern Welcomes is also very open that one of their intentions is to change the demographic make up of Malvern by the import and imposition on the area of ‘refugees’. This aim is made abundantly clear in two excerpts from the December 2017 edition of the newsletter for ‘Malvern Welcomes’.
Peter Bevan, a former mental health social worker from East London and a member of the management committee for Malvern Welcomes said:
“Peter Bevan talked about his work with asylum
seekers and his hopes for a richer, more diverse Malvern as a consequence of welcoming refugees.”
Mr Bevan makes no bones whatsoever that one of his aims is to force demographic change on Malvern, and I really don’t feel that he cares one little bit whether the current inhabitants of Malvern want that change or not.
Further evidence as to the forced demographic change aims of ‘Malvern Welcomes’ can be easily discerned in the words of Ruth Forecast, the Chair of this increasingly alarming and dodgy group.
Ms Forecast said:
“A main aim of Malvern Welcomes is to bring refugees to the area. Ruth Forecast, Chair, said “We have been delighted that Worcestershire has wel-
comed refugees but so far none in Malvern. We are determined to put this right!”
As you the reader can see quite plainly from the words of those behind ‘Malvern Welcomes’ it looks very much as if it is forced — and unwelcome for many locals – demographic change is not just a secondary aim of ‘Malvern Welcomes’ but is very much a primary aim. If this lot truly cared both about the refugees from the Syrian conflict and cared for the safety, security and happiness of local British residents, then they would have been helping those charities that are operating in the war zone.
By taking that path of action they could have helped far more genuine refugees than they would have done by bringing them to the UK which is more expensive for both charities and the taxpayer who will probably end up footing the bill for the ‘refugee’ pets brought in by ‘Malvern Welcomes. This is because the purchasing power of locally sourced aid is often considerably greater than either supplying aid direct from the UK or importing yet more potentially troublesome and burdensome Islamic migrants from Syria. ‘Malvern Welcomes’ could that way have done good for the genuine refugees near to the war zone and would not have involved the moral hazard that comes from bringing those from incompatible and antagonistic cultures to the UK.
Those who believe that help for genuine refugees is better given in the places close to where these refugees originate often scratch our heads at the amount of resources that are wasted on bringing people to Britain when the same money could probably help hundreds of people near to Syria. I think that we have the answer to this question out of the mouths of those from ‘Malvern Welcomes’ themselves. For them demographic change and the smashing of previous cohesive societies seems to be a primary driving force and ‘Malvern Welcomes’ seem none too shy in saying that.
It should be a matter of concern that this group has managed to get its feet so firmly under the table with Worcestershire council and other local authorities in the area. Already they have managed to strong-arm and guilt-trip these local authorities to take in 12 ‘refugees’ and are trumpeting on their website that 50 more ‘refugee families’ are on their way. It is highly likely that, as as happened elsewhere in Britain and in Europe, that the mostly Muslim pet ‘refugees’ that Malvern Welcomes is helping to bring in, will end up as a burden on the taxpayer and will probably consume resources that could be better used elsewhere.
It will surprise none to find out that ‘Malvern Welcomes’ is also involved in sustaining the invader camp at Calais. In December 2017 they claim that they sent volunteers to the Calais camp in order to cook and prepare food for the invading migrants camped out there. By doing so they are helping to keep this Calais invader camp alive and by extension putting the lives of British and Continental lorry drivers at grave risk of assault and maybe death. It’s chilling to think that every migrant, often armed with sticks, knives and whatever they can get their savage hands on who attacks legitimate cross channel travellers has been sustained and supported by those from Malvern Welcomes and other similar entities.
There seems, of course and as can be expected, to be zero concern from ‘Malvern Welcomes’ or other groups like them for the ordinary law abiding people who suffer from the invaders that they have fed and watered in places like Calais. All their concern is directed at those who are trying to get to the UK but who have no legal or moral right to be here and who may often end up being a threat to us. Personally I think that if you put British people in harms way as ‘Malvern Welcomes’ have done and are likely to continue to do, then you can’t get more seditious than that.
When researching ‘Malvern Welcomes’ and their dubious activities and misplaced altruism, I thought it right to try to see how they are funded. Unfortunately at present their finances are opaque and that is mostly because they only registered as a charity with the Charity Commission (charity number
Both Malvern Welcomes themselves, and the groups that they work with along with those that support them, seem to have little or no concern about the well being of the communities that will be hosting their ‘refugee’ pets. Some of those involved in this group seem to be more interested in forced demographic change in the Malvern area than they do about helping those who are genuinely in need in the war zones themselves. Those who make up and support Malvern Welcomes are the very epitome of the middle class Left who love to play ‘Lady Bountiful’ with our resources, our tax money and our nation, but who never ever suffer the negative consequences of their virtue signalling. As a working class former Leftist myself I recognise such individuals and their motivations. I know that their aims, which include a radical open borders policy, are poles apart from any aim that could genuinely benefit Britain’s working classes. They are, as far as many in Britain’s working classes are concerned, the one of the enemies within.
I have come to the conclusion about Malvern Welcomes and that is that they are engaged in an altruism that is both misplaced and dangerous. They are in favour of open borders, they are feeding those who are putting British transport workers at mortal risk and they are bringing in people from hostile cultures, something that we neither need nor want. All their policies and desires are ones that can only end badly for the rest of us at least.
This lot are doing terribly destructive and stupid things and promoting policies that will be disastrous, but are patting themselves on the back and calling themselves ‘holy’ for doing so. To describe this group and what they are doing, I find myself reaching into Scripture for a suitable form of words, and I find them in the Book of Isaiah: ‘Woe to those who call good, evil and who call evil good’.
