I flicked onto the news earlier and saw that there has been a terrorist attack in France in which two people have been killed and others taken hostage. When I heard this my first thought was that this was the ‘religion of peace’ behind this but then stopped myself. What if I’m wrong I wondered? What if this isn’t yet another Islamic terror attack but instead the work of a barmy Buddhist or a homicidal Hindu or even a deranged follower of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

There was of course, a chance that this appalling and murderous attack on completely innocent people was the result of some other factor apart from Islam, but it was a very, very small chance. As I at first suspected, this attack was carried out by a man who appears to be aligned with ISIS and who is holding the hostages in order to try to secure the release from a French prison, the sole surviving perpetrator of the 2015 Islamic massacres in Paris. In other words, yes it’s Islam, yet again.

Yet again there has been the blood of innocents spilled by the followers of an ideology that by almost their every action, shows the phrase ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ to be nothing more than a monstrous and blatant lie. As has too often been the case the perpetrators of such appalling and bestial destruction of human life have not come from those who follow religious ideologies that, to a greater or lesser extent, have their roots in peace, but as usual from the followers of a violent death cult of the most bestial kind, an ideology called Islam.

The taking of a life should always be the last resort in any situation, and this is a precept that the majority of non Muslims can live their lives by, but in Islam there seems to be a multitude of individuals for whom killing is all too often the first and only option for them. I’m afraid to have to say it but the French are starting to find out that the more Islam that they have in their society and within their nation’s borders, the more Islamic violence of the sort that we have seen today, will occur. I’ve just heard that this savage may have been killed by police and if so it is good that this murderer is no more, but before we celebrate this fact we need to be aware that there will be many more Muslims who are willing to take this dead terrorists place and we need to guard against them.
