Today, as many of my Christian friends know, is Good Friday, which is one of the holiest days in the Christian calendar. This weekend sees Christians celebrate their belief in the resurrection of Jesus, after his execution by the Roman occupiers of the land which is today called Israel.

In a spirit of friendship, I wish all this blog’s many, many Christian readers a very Happy Easter. May your vigil and celebrations be peaceful and may you be surrounded by the love of family and friends.
