I was looking for an interesting livestream, one that effectively told the story of the impromptu ‘Free Tommy’ demonstration that took place in London’s Whitehall yesterday, and I think I have found what I was looking for. This video by Opinionated Euro (@OpinionatedEuro ) told the story of this demonstration very well indeed. This particular demonstration, called less than 24 hours before it happened, took place at almost the very spot that Mr Tommy Robinson had but three weeks or so ago called for Britons to be given back their free speech rights at the Day For Freedom demonstration. Opinionated Euro estimated that at least five hundred people turned out to call for Tommy Robinson to be released from imprisonment on contempt of court charges. My own estimation from watching this lady’s stream comes to roughly the same. This number, 500, is pretty impressive to my mind for a demonstration that was called so quickly.
