I have watched the Free Tommy Robinson movement grow exponentially since the recent, and in my view unjust gaoling, of the patriot human rights campaigner, following a trial that raised concerns among many people about its fairness. I have felt both pride and astonishment at the number of people who have turned out for the various Free Tommy demonstrations, not just in the United Kingdom but across the world. They have turned out in places like Tel Aviv, Australia, and Washington DC where protesters gathered outside British Embassies to express their disgust at the incarceration of Tommy Robinson. Mr Robinson was imprisoned for contempt of court in a hearing that has provoked anger over its brevity and perceived bias, after he was arrested whilst he was reporting on one of the many Islamic Rape Gang trials that are, at last, being dealt with by the British courts.
I attended this demonstration primarily to take part in the call to free Tommy Robinson, but also to be a witness to a phenomena that appears to have caught the political classes off guard. This piece is mostly my account of what I saw, heard and felt on Saturday.
From looking at the various bulletin boards and social media outlets where people were talking about this demonstration, I could see that this event would have a large amount of support. I expected that around 6-7,000 people would attend, primarily because those who turn up for patriot demonstrations are mostly, unlike the leftist groups, made up of normal people who have jobs to go to. People who may have to sacrifice a day of their precious annual leave to attend a demonstration are not going to turn out for any old cause, they will think carefully before they hit the streets on a weekday and more so on a Saturday where there are many other claims on their time.
As I said, I expected to see about six thousand or so there, what I did not expect was to hear from the rally’s compère, Raheem Kasaam that twenty thousand people had turned up! These people gave up their free time and spent money on travel to and around London, to call not just for Tommy Robinson’s incarceration to end, but also to express their anger about the ideology of Islam and the damage that it is doing to British society.
I was towards the front of the demonstration at the stage end and looking back down Whitehall towards Trafalgar Square was breathtaking. Thousands upon thousands of people stretching as far as I could see, almost to Trafalgar Square itself, the crowd occasionally and spontaneously calling Tommy’s name and singing ‘we want Tommy out’.
Prior to the demo, I walked up and down Whitehall taking in the scene. On street corners and outside pubs little knots of Britons gathered, these were people who have had enough of being silenced when it comes to Islam and are righteously angry at the treatment of Mr Robinson. They shouted out what has now become a familiar refrain at these demonstrations, ‘Tommy, Tommy, Tommy,Tommy Robinson’. The sound of this chant reverberated around Whitehall, this canyon of government and caused some tourists to ask questions concerning what the demonstration was about. These curious tourists are probably very much more aware now than they were before, that for many Britons there is something rotten in the state of Britain.
Whilst chatting to people before the demonstration started, I was struck by the fact that for a lot of people there, this was their first ever demonstration. These individuals may have in the past really only quietly grumbled at the problems caused by Islam and government policies towards it, but the harsh sentence meted out by the State on Tommy Robinson has propelled such people out on to the streets to protest. Oh, and while I’m on the subject of talking about those demonstrators I spoke to, contrary to whatever the mainstream media may tell you, I met no real neo-Nazis or any who I would honestly classify as ‘far right’. However I did finally get to meet the author Shazia Hobbs and make the acquaintance of the Reverend Simon Sideways and Janice Atkinson, the now independent, formerly UKIP MEP for South East England. I owe the latter somewhat of an apology for my apparent rudeness as I had to break off a conversation with her to dart into one of the press areas before it was closed off. I assure her that no slight was intended on my part.
I’ve attended many demonstrations in central London over the years, both as a participant and as an observer and this one really was different. It was a ‘ground up’ demonstration, where individuals from different walks of life and areas of the country had spontaneously decided to travel to London to protest not just about Tommy’s incarceration, but also to express their disgust at the ideology of Islam. This was not a bunch of bussed-in brainwashed students of the sort who turn out for Leftist ‘anti-austerity’ demonstrations, this demonstration was overwhelmingly made up of ordinary people who have had enough. They’ve had enough of mass migration by people from inappropriate and unassimilatable cultures, enough of the Islam-related crime that they suffer from and enough of the Islamic Rape Gangs that seem to appear wherever there are Muslim men. I also got the impression that there were many at this demonstration who had had enough of seeing our right to free speech eviscerated and about being told by government and press that we should: ‘shut up and enjoy the enforced diversity/imported savagery’.
The rally itself was excellently compèred by former Breitbart London editor Raheem Kasaam and featured a diverse range of speakers, ranging from those who had spent their political lives fighting the nation-destroying cult of multiculturalism, to those who had lost loved ones in suspected murders by migrants that the police are alleged to have covered up. All those who spoke from the platform spoke with passion about the threat posed to our societies from an ideology that demands our submission and all called for the release of Tommy Robinson.
I will not go through and describe or transcribe all the speeches that were made on Saturday, there are plenty of videos out there of them for you to watch and I hope to shove my mobile phone footage up on Bitchute later today or tomorrow (when I am clear of child supervision duties). However, there were some notable highlights that I would like to point out when it came to the speeches. Gerard Batten, the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party spoke strong words about the injustice that has been done to Mr Robinson and how Islam is an ideology that demands submission. For me at least, it was refreshing to see someone of Mr Batten’s stature standing up and telling the truth about this ideology and standing with the people who have suffered because of it for so long. I think that UKIP has been transformed, and transformed for the better, since Mr Batten took over the reins. For the first time in years I am considering joining a political party again and it’s looking more and more likely that that party will be UKIP. I get the impression that UKIP under Mr Batten are true conservatives who will conserve that which is best about the UK without being hyper-secularist about it, such as trying to destroy things like religious schools (something valued by many Christian and Jewish Britons) which some other alternative parties have as part of their policies.
Shazia Hobbs, the author of the novel ‘The Gori’s Daughter’ and a contributor to Alt News Media took to the stage and talked, as only a former Islamic insider could speak, of the hidden horrors of child rape that occur in Britain’s Pakistani Muslim community. She also spoke with clarity and passion of her experience in dealing with Mr Tommy Robinson. Like many, she said she was wary of him because of the mainstream media image that had been created around him, but she found that the reality of Tommy Robinson was very different and much more positive than the MSM image of him. She said that she realised that Tommy Robinson had been speaking of the same problems that she saw, Islamic sex crime and had been speaking of them for years.
There were many other speeches calling for Mr Robinson to be released and criticising the severity of the sentence handed down to him. There were also messages of goodwill for Tommy Robinson coming from the deputy leader of the French Front National and from Steve Bannon formerly a senior member of President Trump’s early team of advisors. There was a particularly moving contribution from the families of three teenagers who were killed in West London in a hit and run incident where a migrant drove his car into five teenagers. The police appear to have blatantly lied to the families of Harry, Josh and George, the three boys killed in the incident in January 2018. The police allegedly lied about how long this killer migrant had been in the country and lied about the nature of the incident itself in the police’s communications with the families. You can find out about this tragic story via this video made by Tommy Robinson himself via this link.
The rally also featured distinguished visitors from overseas including a speaker from the Belgian Flemish patriot and anti-Islam party Vlaams Belang and the Dutch politician Geert Wilders. For me personally it was Mr Wilders who was the star of Saturday’s show. He made a stupendous speech drawing attention to and giving thanks for the sacrifice made by a generation of young British men during World War II to free the Nederlands from the occupying Nazi tyrants. He said that the Dutch called these heroic Briton’s ‘Tommies’ and that today people have gathered to call for the release of another British hero called Tommy. It was mightily refreshing to see an elected politician get up on a British stage, almost outside the gates of the Prime Minister’s residence at Downing Street and tell the truth about the ideology of Islam. It also said a lot about the terrible security situation that exists in the United Kingdom at present that following his speech Mr Wilders presumably because of the threat from violent Muslims, had to be escorted away between two phalanxes of police officers. If we had not been so infested with violent Muslims it would and should have been possible for Mr Wilders to give his speech without having to require such overt security.
This demonstration was a triumph and shows again that not only is the ‘Free Tommy’ movement growing but that more people are dismissing the whines and excuses regarding this case that are coming either from the Government itself, or via the state’s tame journalists. There were several dirty tricks that were discussed both from the platform and among attendees, such as the Daily Mirror allegedly trying to put out false information that the demonstration had been cancelled and police tannoy announcements at tube stations stating similar misinformation.
I get the distinct impression that the public reaction to the arrest and imprisonment of Tommy Robinson and the nation’s continuing Islam problems has caught the Government off guard somewhat. Because of that the Government are trying to protect the failing ideology of multiculturalism and stifle this pro-Britain movement before it becomes unstoppable. However, trust in the media, the police, the political classes and the promoters of the multiculti political cult, is now so abominably low that it is unlikely that either the lying media or lying police will have the affect it may once have done. Bent media and questionable Home Secretaries can point and shout ‘far right’ at us all bloody day for all we care, we know this is a slur of the worst kind and therefore ignore it. From what I can gather from talking to and listening to people is that when demonstrators encountered the police announcements saying ‘turn back demo cancelled’ they just ignored the advice and went on to the demo. People are now expecting their police officers to lie to them when it comes to either Islam or the movement against Islam. I must say that this is not a good position for the nation and especially the police to be in in a country that is supposed to be policed by the consent of the public. This massive throng in Whitehall who ignored police lies about the event is what civilly and peacefully disobeying bad police policy looks like.
I have to at this point touch on the issue of trouble and for this piece I will only comment on that which I saw with my own eyes. Quite frankly there was very little trouble that I saw from my vantage point. There was a little bit of argy bargy, mostly verbal from what I could see from outside the Red Lion pub, between the tiny bunch, about 50 or 60 or so Lefties who had organised a ‘counterprotest’ and a similar number of patriots who had walked over to verbally challenge the Left. The other incident that I saw was again very minor and short lived and involved a few hotheads chucking drink at police officers guarding Downing Street whilst chanting ‘shame on you, shame on you ‘ to the police. This incident was neutralised in less than one and a half minutes by my reckoning and this was achieved by peer pressure from other marchers and by exhortation from Raheem Kasaam from the stage.
To conclude: I was very surprised, pleasantly surprised to find 20,000 people turned out for Tommy and for the cause of taking our nation back from the Islamopanderers in government, the administration sector and the police. I would really not want to be betting against the prediction made by one of the speakers, that people are so angry about the treatment of Tommy Robinson and angry about Islam, that next month’s demonstration, scheduled for July 14th may well top 50,000 participants.
I shall do my utmost to be there on the 14th July. I’m disgusted by the treatment of Mr Robinson and disgusted by my government’s appeasement of Islam, so much so that I feel morally compelled to add my voice to the many others who feel the same way as me. Although it’s right and proper that we take to the streets to peacefully protest this unjust incarceration and our political Quislings for Islam, we should remember, that protests can be ignored but the current politicians cannot ignore us if we vote in large numbers for those parties that have seen or are seeing the light when it comes to Islam. If we want to remove the Quislings then we have to vote them out.
Let’s get together on the 14th July and say again ‘Free Tommy’ and free Britain from the depredations of a fascistic ideology that has held our governing classes in its thrall for far too long. Saturday was when those who have been previously silenced started to speak out and we need to keep on speaking out.

I agree with you 100% with regards to Gerard Batten (GB). He’s the best possible person to lead UKIP (can anyone imagine pipsqueak Bolton being on the stage?), especially as Farage seems now to be a single issue politician, pursuing Brexit and nothing else. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s a dirty job and someone has to do it but UKIP has to have a wider appeal if it is to survive, and GB brings that appeal.
I was also at the demo, standing about 12 people back from the front. I firmly believe that there were agent provocateurs in the crowd as I saw a group of three guys pass in front of me and one of them did a Nazi salute towards the stage. It was very brief and they kept moving and didn’t hang around. I’d say to all those that attended don’t be drawn in by these mischief makers who are there to discredit what was on the whole a very good natured event, despite the evident strong emotions that were running high.
I pray that Tommy will be out of prison before the 14th July but regardless, I hope the event goes ahead just to celebrate his release. See you there!!
I’m with you that GB is the best person for the UKIP leader’s job at present. I really don’t blame NF for concentrating on the Brexit issue, especially with so many Remainiacs trying to stifle the Brexit process. You were pretty close to me if you were near the front. The ‘Nazi salute before the stage’ thing looks like the work of agent provoctueurs/police/antifa and I agree our side should give these types a wide berth. I’ll be there on the 14th hopefully to celebrate Mr Robinson’s release but if not to continue to call for his release and for the govt to stop pandering to the ideology of Islam and its followers. Why not say ‘hello’ to me next time, you cant’ miss me LOL
