Some apparent good news from the Tommy Robinson camp – new legal team

I was delighted to receive an email this morning from Rebel Media speaking about the Tommy Robinson case and the latest developments in the fight to get him free. Apparently, according to the email signed by Rebel Media’s Ezra Levant, Mr Robinson’s family has approved of a fighting fund to pay for lawyers to fight Mr Robinson’s harsh treatment by one of Britain’s courts.

The email in part read:

Today Tommy Robinson fights back for real.

And it’s time for us to help him.

After private conversations with his family, I’m delighted to announce a way that we can all help, that has been authorized and approved by Tommy, and his family, including Tommy’s wife and his mother.

Tommy has switched lawyers. He now has a top law firm that is filing an appeal.

They are giving Tommy the world-class representation that he needs.

Finally, someone is addressing everything from Tommy’s treatment in prison, to the hasty manner in which Tommy was tried and convicted, and of course the shocking 13-month sentence.

With the approval and authorization of the family, I have undertaken to cover all of the fees of Tommy’s new legal team.

Tommy’s family has also asked me to e-mail this news to all of our Rebel supporters, to invite people to contribute to this legal defence fund, at www.SaveTommy.com

I’m very pleased to hear about the appointment of a new legal team to handle Tommy Robinson’s case. I hope that the team includes those who are specialists in dealing with these sorts of cases as this one is particularly tricky and as we all know, very high profile. I doubt that this team will include many or any of those legal loudmouths who whine loudly about the human rights of the sort of Islamic terrorists that Tommy has campaigned against over many years. If I recall correctly, Tommy Robinson’s autobiography, ‘Enemy of the State’ (ISBN-13: 978-0957096493) told the tale of how the legal human rights establishment that is often so eager to stand up for left wing or Islamic causes, would not give Tommy Robinson the sort representation that he deserved.
