There is a developing story coming out of the Netherlands which is being reported by Breitbart. Apparently the offices of a right leaning newspaper that has previously republished images of the infamous ‘Mohammed cartoons’ was hit by a vehicular attack earlier today.

Damage is said to be serious but there have been no reports of any injuries.

Breitbart said:

A van was driven into the offices of a right-wing Dutch newspaper in Amsterdam Tuesday morning, bursting into flames and causing significant damage in what is being called an attack on the news organisation.

The Dutch police said the strike was a “deliberate action” and revealed a manhunt was underway after a suspect managed to escape the scene.

The man rammed the offices and then reversed out and made another attempt to ram the building. After his second ramming attempt, the driver decamped and appeared to ignite some form of energetic materials seemingly held in the back of the van.

Breitbart added:

Security footage of the attack released by the newspaper shows the van driving into the glass wall at speed, but only causing limited damage. The driver of the van then appears to reverse the truck away to make another attempt to ram the building, stalling the vehicle in the process. After his second attempt to ram the vehicle through into the building, the driver disembarks, wearing a heavy hooded coat and carrying a plastic bag. Igniting some form of explosive in the back of the truck, the man then flees on foot. No arrests have been made.

Although at the time of writing there is no statement from the police about why this attack could have occurred on this newspaper, there is a lot of room for speculation. The fact that it has taken a conservative and populist line and has been happy to publish cartoons mocking Mohammed does suggest that this attack was Islam related and it is almost certain that this attack was not carried out by a mentally ill Methodist. There is of course the possibility that this attack was the work of a Leftist but this is less likely than the chance that this could be yet more ‘religion of peace’ activity.

If this attack is proven to be Islam related then it is yet another indication not only of how incompatible the violent ideology of Islam is with European cultures but also how Islam is not only at war with we as peoples, but also at war with our freedoms.
