The impression that the average Briton may get about President Donald Trump from the UK’s ‘media party’ ie the BBC, is that Mr Trump is wildly unpopular among Americans. The Leftist media in the UK both state run and otherwise, concentrates its coverage on those who have criticisms of Mr Trump but rarely look at polling numbers.
Mr Tim Pool the independent journalist on the other hand has taken a close look at polling numbers and has found that Mr Trump is slightly more popular now than when he was when he was elected. One would expect that politicians who are elected partially on a wave or protest against the political Establishment to lose support over time as previous voters start to become disheartened when the pre election rhetoric fails to become a reality. However this does not have seemed to have happened with regards to President Trump. He’s still much more popular than many may have expected to be and considerably more popular than how the likes of the BBC like to portray him.
In this video, Mr Pool digs into the numbers and also examines how the current policies of the Democrat party are driving away key demographic groups such as White millennial males, a group that the Democrats need for success. Mr Pool makes the suggestion that President Trump stands a very good choice of being re-elected in 2020 and also that the trajectory of American politics is Conservative.
This video, linked below, is well worth watching as an antidote to some of the less than truthful guff about American politics that we in the United Kingdom get fed from our mainstream media.
