When the by now infamous ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ letters and the associated hoax chemical attacks incidents occurred earlier this year, Islamic groups such as Tell Mama and high profile Muslim politicians such as then Communities Secretary Sajid Javid, completely lost their shit over the matter. They used the incident to shroud-wave about ‘Islamophobia’, play the increasingly laughable ‘Islamic victimhood card’ and sometimes gave the distinct impression, by claiming that this was evidence of widespread ‘Islamophobia’, that this incident was the result of actions by a highly organised group. Those of us who are more grounded in the world of reality, looked at the pictures that had been released to the Press by the various police forces in which these letters turned up, and said that if this was not the work of some Taqiyya promoting Islamic extremist rabble rouser, then it would more likely to be the work of a singular nutcase.
Now that this case has come before the courts, those of us who said that these letter were the work of one disturbed individual have been proven to be correct. These letters do not appear to have come from a group that was set up to target individual and often innocent Muslims, it seems to be the work of just one bloke who has taken things far too far.
We can see that this is the work of just one man by the fact that despite massive amounts of police resources thrown at this case only one person has been arrested or brought before the courts. Although I condemn the sending of threatening letters or the sort of hoax chemical attacks that the defendant has pleaded guilty to, it needs to be said that this case is NOT evidence that there is a massive amount of potentially violent ‘Islamophobia’ as some Islamic and Left groups are trying to claim.
Here’s Brietbart’s coverage of the recent court appearance made by the perpetrator of these letters and incidents, one David Parnham, aged 35 of Lincolnshire.
Breitbart said:
A council worker who sent out ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ letters and threatening notes to the Queen and Prime Minister could face life in jail after admitting 15 offences at the Old Bailey.
David Parnham, 35, also wrote about his admiration for American mass murderer Dylann Roof, who killed nine black people at a church in Charleston, South Carolina.
One deranged letter to former Tory leader David Cameron declared, “Allah is great,” Lincolnshire Live reports.
Other letters, also posted out last year, were sent to a series of addresses on the University of Sheffield campus calling on recipients to exterminate “Jews, pigs, n***ers, gypsies, and Mexicans.”
The letters contained ideas on how to kill people and an offer to make a donation of £100 to charity for each death.
The letters made national headlines in the United Kingdom for weeks, prompting claims of a rise in “Islamophobia” and “hate crimes” with some commentators linking the notes to Brexit.
Does anyone else think that it is a little odd that we the British public was subjected to massive amounts of mainstream media coverage, encouraged somewhat by various Islamic grievance mongers, about the fact that Muslims were being targeted but very little, nothing as I can recall, about the fact that this nutter targeted others apart from Muslims? We had much bleating from the likes of Tell Mama and Sajid Javid about the Islamic angle to this but now we find out that Parnham had a go at other groups as well. This does raise the question about whether or not those individuals and groups so assiduously pushing the Islamic victimhood angle about this case knew this and if so why say so little about that? We heard a great deal at the time of the letters being found but not a lot about the fact that Jews, Blacks and Gypsies were also targeted by the perpetrator for similar abuse. Why the extreme concentration by the media and the political class on the Islamic aspect of this and not make a similar meal of the fact that other groups were also targeted? Don’t Jews or Blacks or anyone else deserve the threats made to these groups by this man also deserve similar levels of publicity?
As I have said often in previous articles about this case and about similar incidents, I condemn death threats and the sorts of chemical weapon hoaxes that Parnham has admitted to as not only are such actions morally and legally wrong in and of themselves, but they are also counterproductive as they give those who are normally whining about nothing, something real to whine about. Handing one’s enemy a weapon is never normally a good idea.
But, as I said at the start of this piece, those of us who said ‘lone nutter’ rather than organised political terrorist group have been proven to be correct. For the hoax terror offences and the solicitation of murder Parnham is likely to do a considerable amount of prison time and many will say that this is just due to the fact that murder has been called for. However, there is I have to say a vast amount of moral and practical difference between a man who solicited the murder of others and did so alone and with zero actual effect, and those who work with a group of like minded people and follow a particular ideology.
I speak here of many Imams who stand up in mosque pulpits every Friday and call for the deaths of Jews, Christians, Hindus and the others in the Islamic community who foment jihad and rejoice in the deaths of non-Muslims, they should also be considered as being guilty of soliciting murder. Parnham is likely to get a life sentence for the soliciting murder and the hoax terror offences as they are serious ones. But, I would like to see many more Muslims being tried for similar offences which, unlikes Parnham’s crimes, have indeed led to actual murders in Manchester, London and Westminster Bridges, the London Underground, Tunisia and elsewhere. It would be evidence of an appalling legal double standard if Parnham rightly goes to gaol for soliciting murder yet the Muslims who all too regularly call for my death, my family’s death and the deaths of my countrymen, go scot free.

Following the arrest it became even more clear that this was not the work of an organised group. In other words the case was based on much less than some groups gave the impression stated it was
First look at charges for Parnham and it was very plain that he was working alone.
There was also an allegation made that Sajid Javid was being economical with the truth with regards a photograph that he said was an actual picture of the letter he said he received but which turned out to be a press release that came out via Tell Mama
