Israel is a nation that many of us recognise is on the front line in war against global Jihad, Several spectacularly failed attempts have been made by Muslim Arab armies to destroy Israel and even today the nation is surrounded by enemies that are nation-state based and other enemies that are non state actors, such as Hezbollah, Hamas and the various ‘Palestinian’ groups.
The nations that border Israel, such as Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon, even though some may currently have in an uneasy political peace with Israel still have populations that are mired in Islam derived Jew hatred. Hatred of Jews among these people comes from the Islamic scriptural texts and despite what some on the Left may say, have very little to do with land or ‘oppression’ or anything else. If the conflict in the Middle East was at root down to matters related to land, water, trade or basic security, then they would have been solved, or at least worked around, but they are not. The Arab hatred for Jews and Israel is less to do with what Israel does but with what Islam tells these Arabs to do and that is ‘kill Jews’.
A good example of the sort of Islamic savage produced by the ‘Palestinians’ comes from a recent
story in the Times of Israel. The Israeli security forces stopped a Muslim Arab at a checkpoint between the West Bank and the rest of Israel about whom they had suspicions. The Islamic savage was at least honest in his reply to questions as to why he was in Israel, ‘I came to kill Jews’ he said.
A 19-year-old Palestinian was arrested Friday after he aroused the suspicions of security guards at a crossing into Israel, who searched him and found he was carrying a knife.
The man, from the West Bank city of Qalqilya, was held after he was stopped at the Eliyahu crossing.
Upon questioning, the man told guards at the checkpoint: “I came here to kill Jews,” the Defense Ministry said. He was arrested and taken for interrogation.
This knife wielding Muslim Jew murder fan is I’m afraid all too representative of the sort of violent and hate filled thugs that the Islam dominated ‘Palestinian’ politics and culture are producing. I suppose it is to be expected to some degree that a culture which is built on the poisonous and violent foundations of Islam will produce savages, but the ‘Palestinian’ political classes have done their utmost to make bad situations worse. If this political class truly desired peace they would stop the brainwashing of their youth into the idea that killing Jews is the highest of achievements, but they don’t and so more creatures like the one mentioned above are created.
There have been numerous occasions over history where terrorists have made the transformation into statesmen and the world saw that happening a lot during the period of post World War II decolonisation. Former terrorists, some with justifiable grievances on their side but others who may not have had, put down their arms, took off their uniforms and became governments. Sometimes these new governments were successful and on other occasions they were not but decolonisation showed that the negotiating table can sometimes yield better and more substantial results than the bomb or the bullet. The leaders of the ‘Palestinians’ could choose to make the leap from terrorists to statesmen, to deal honestly with both the Israelis and the world and also to stop the worst excesses of Islamic Jew hatred being promoted where it is in their power to do so. Unfortunately, the leaders of the ‘Palestinians’ do not appear to be interested in land or peace, justice or resources or even security, they continue on their road of having one major goal, that of destroying Israel and killing Jews. To balance this view I have of course met a number of ‘Palestinians’ who are not violent and who do genuinely desire peace and some who still desire peace even though one or more of their relatives have died via Israeli bullets. These people I can respect, they know that for lasting peace the transformation from terrorist to statesmen must be made, however I know and they know that they are not the ones calling the shots with regards ‘Palestine’. No matter how much the peaceniks desire peace they are led by those who do not.
My question to the Left, who are often calling for Israel to make peace would be this: Who does Israel actually have to make peace with? The leadership of the ‘Palestinians’ are still banging the ‘destroy Israel’ drum and until they stop doing that there will not be any chance of any lasting and real peace. It is virtually impossible to make peace with those who sit around the metaphorical negotiating table saying the word ‘peace’ whilst wearing a tee shirt that reads ‘Kill Jews’, which is in effect what the ‘Palestinian’ leadership is doing. You cannot and should not make peace with those who want you dead and madness to try.
