There are a lot of peaceful religions in the world and Islam is not one of them. It is not against potential attacks by the Hindus or the Jews or the Jains that armed police have been deployed in the city of Nottingham, but against the likelihood that the followers of an ideology that is too often dishonestly described as ‘a religion of peace’, will suddenly decide to kill and maim at a Christmas event
According to a report on the Nottinghamshire Live website and reposted by Religion of Peace, armed police are being sent to patrol the annual Nottingham Christmas Winter Wonderland which is being held in the city’s Old Market Square. Armed police have been deployed to Winter Wonderland to keep the public safe in the run-up to Christmas.
Nottinghamshire Police said armed officers have been deployed as a precaution rather than any intelligence that a strike will happen.
Detective Chief Superintendent Gerard Milano, head of crime at Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This is a proportionate response from the force, and is part of our suite of measures deployed to reassure our communities and keep people safe.
“Armed officers, like all of our officers, are there to serve the public and people should feel free to approach them and engage with them.
Nottinghamshire have of course forgotten to mention that the reason we have to have this sort of precaution needing to be taken is because Britain has so many Muslims who are liable to suffer from ‘Sudden Jihad Syndrome’. Whilst I concede that there are a lot of Muslims who want nothing to do with the savagery that Islam promotes, and who may even live in fear of such savagery themselves, nobody, least of all our police forces should deny the root of our current Islamic terrorism troubles. We didn’t need this level of security of something like a Christmas market or Christmas event in the past, not even if I recall correctly in the days of IRA atrocities or when the anarchist Angry Brigade were operating. It is Islam and only Islam that has brought about the conditions where armed police are even needed at innocuous events such as this one.
Although Nottinghamshire police may well be correct when they say that they have had no intelligence to suggest that an attack on Nottingham is in the offing, the fact that these armed police are having to be deployed in this manner tells us much more than the force would like to publicly admit about threat we face. It shows us just how much threat the public is under from the woefully misnamed ‘religion of peace’ and how great are the amount of resources are now required to protect us from this troubling and troublesome ideology.
