We in the West keep getting told by our politicians that ‘Islam is a religion of peace’, yet the evidence that Islam is anything but peaceful keeps piling up. For every positive comment by an ignorant or dishonest politician about the nature of Islam, Muslims themselves keep providing us with knowledge of the real face of Islam, the Islam that too much of the world has to suffer under.
One of the more recent examples of Islam being extremely un-peaceful comes from Afghanistan, a country that Britain and its allies have expended much blood and treasure on in trying to bring this nation out of the stone age and also contain its nutcases. However it seems that all efforts to civilise this pit of Islamic savagery have failed and in Afghanistan Islam has reverted to type and have turned the country into an oppressive charnel house again.
The latest example of full Islamic hatred and violence being practised in Afghanistan, comes from a recent story about a group of Islamic clerics who were murdered, by other Muslims, whilst meeting to celebrate the birthday of Mohammed, he man whom Islam claims is their prophet. According to a report on Sky News dated 20th November 2018, a Muslim suicide bomber self detonated at a wedding hall in the Afghan capital Kabul where the Mohammed birthday celebration was happening, and killed 50 people and injured 80 more. This is yet more death, maiming and destruction that can be laid at the feet of a religion and an ideology that is not only dishonestly called ‘peaceful’ by those who rule us, but is also a clear and present danger to peace.
Sky News said:
A suicide bomber who targeted a gathering of religious scholars in Kabul has killed at least 50 people and wounded another 80, authorities say.
The scholars had met inside a wedding hall to celebrate Prophet Mohammed’s birthday, interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.
The total of 50 dead and 80 wounded is reported by the Reuters news agency, quoting three government sources, while other reports put the death toll at 43.
The targeted building was the Uranus wedding hall, a massive complex housing several large banqueting halls near the city’s airport.
Kabul police spokesman Basir Mujahid said: “Hundreds of Islamic scholars and their followers had gathered to recite verses from the holy Quran to observe the Eid Milad-un-Nabi festival at the private banquet hall.”
The Sky News report then went on to speculate about the motivation for the terrorist attack. Although at the time of writing of the Sky piece there had been no group claiming responsibility for the attack, it is suspected by Sky that this is either the work of ISIS or the Taliban. It is interesting to note that at least some of the clerics who were attacked, were said by the writer of the Sky piece to have been involved in issuing a religious ruling or fatwa against suicide bombing and had made a call for peace. This raises the possibility that these religious clerics were murdered in part because they were not religiously violent or hateful enough for other Muslims to stomach. If this is correct then this is yet another example of a group of Muslims hating each other with a violent passion almost as great as the hatred they have for the rest of non-Muslim humanity. Some religions take the view that ‘blessed are the peacemakers’, others, like Islam, appear to believe instead that it is their divine duty to kill the peacemakers.
This story of Muslim killing Muslim possibly because the victims were perceived as being ‘too peaceful’ by other Muslims is yet more evidence that those who claim that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’ are either shockingly ignorant, or barefaced liars. Afghanistan is a tragedy with borders, a truly failed state and it is that way mainly because of Islam. It is Islam, not the West or the Soviet Union that turned Afghanistan into a place of violence, ignorance, cultural retardation and despair. Islam is the motivation for the Afghan nightmare of oppressed women, raped children, mass murder and terror. Islam is to blame for Afghanistan’s sorrow just as it is Islam that is to blame for propelling its adherents to go out and murder peacemakers.
